Preity Zinta Is Thankful To ‘Guru Mitr' For Helping Her Navigate Spiritual Journey
Expressing gratitude towards her guru, Preity Zinta spoke about how Acharya Ashok Diwedi helped navigate and understand the spiritual journey.
Guru Purnima is a day dedicated to all gurus. It is one of the major spiritual festivals that is celebrated to honour our teachers and gurus, who inspire, guide and instill values and knowledge within us. Celebrated on July 10, the day is an opportunity for all individuals to wish their teachers and express their love and gratitude for changing their lives.
To mark the occasion, Bollywood actress Preity Zinta also took to her social media to wish 'Guru Mitr.' Expressing gratitude towards her guru, the actress spoke about how Acharya Ashok Diwedi helped her navigate and understand her spiritual journey.
Preity Zinta shared a picture of herself on Instagram sitting next to her guru in the spiritual city of Varanasi. In the picture, she was looking graceful wearing a plain white kurta with a colourful dupatta.
Alongside the photo, she penned, 'Happy Guru Purnima to all of you who celebrate it. Guru Purnima is a day in honour of one's chosen spiritual teacher or guru, so I wanted to take this opportunity to acknowledge & wish my Guru Mitr-Acharya Ashok Diwedi ji/Guru ji for helping me navigate & understand my spiritual journey."

Talking about Preity Zinta's professional commitments, the actress was last seen in the 2018 film Bhaiaji Superhit. The action comedy film, directed by Neerraj Pathak, also featured talented actors like Sunny Deol, Arshad Warsi, Ameesha Patel and Shreyas Talpade.
Up next, she is gearing up to make her much-awaited comeback to the lights-camera-action world with Lahore 1947. Helmed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the film was officially announced in October 2023 and has been generating quite a buzz for its star-studded cast and promising storyline. This highly anticipated project, bankrolled by Aamir Khan Productions, brings together some of the Bollywood heavyweights including Shabana Azmi, Sunny Deol, Ali Fazal and Karan Deol.
