Aimee Lou Wood shared a sweet loved-up snap with her boyfriend Adam Long on Thursday. The White Lotus actress, 31, took to her Instagram Story to document some of her fun-filled Glastonbury weekend which included a picture with her 34-year-old partner. Actor Adam is best known for his role as convict Lewis Whippey in Happy Valley and looked like he was enjoying the festival as he relaxed in the snap with Aimee. She looked stylish in a denim dress while Adam - who dressed casually - embraced her at the festival held at Worthy Farm. The pair - who are starring together in the upcoming BBC series Film Club - were first spotted sharing a kiss last month. Aimee has liked all of Adam's social media posts since their Film Club casting was announced last November. She was also quick to praise the star after he completed a sponsored run in aid of Movember and men's mental health awareness. On a snap of the actor and his running buddies, Aimee penned: 'YOU DID IT!!!!!!! ✨' It's believed the pair met last year working on their upcoming BBC Three series, written by Aimee, in which they play a couple. The pair play lovers in the series, which follows Evie (Aimee) who sets up a film club with her best friend Noa (Nabhaan Rizwaan). A BBC synopsis reads: 'It's Friday night. 7pm. Film Club Week 198. Evie hasn't left the house in six months after a 'wobble', and tonight, things are different. 'Noa's got big news. A dream job is taking him across the other side of the country, which means that all of this is ending. That reality is hitting. That they're going to be forced to consider for the first time they might be more than just friends. 'Neither of them are the best when it comes to emotions but this time those emotions might be impossible to ignore... Discussing the reason behind their split, Aimee noted that relationships don't have to consist of a 'goodie' and a 'baddie', but sometimes the combination of two personalities in a dynamic can result in 'unhealthy themes'. She said in an interview with Grazia: 'We'd had some time apart and then we realised that maybe the relationship wasn't serving us both,' before stating that she and Connor still love each other and respect each other. The sketch poked fun at her Manchester U.K. accent and her teeth, with Sarah exclaiming: 'Fluoride? What's that?' In response, Aimee took aim at the 'cheap' joke, writing on Instagram: 'Such a shame cuz I had such a great time watching it a couple weeks ago. Yes, take the p**s for sure - that's what the show is about- but there must be a cleverer, more nuanced, less cheap way?' Diverse and inclusive workforces the ‘most relaxed and happy', says Taoiseach
His comments come as US President Donald Trump has clamped down on American taxpayer spending on equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) programmes, branding them a waste of money. He was speaking in an interview with Adam Long, board director of the National LGBT Federation (NXF) ahead of this weekend's Pride parade in Dublin. 'Companies will tell you that a diversity inclusive model is the most productive workforce and the most relaxed and happy place,' said the Taoiseach. 'When you go to the Googles of this world or you go to the major companies we have, be it digital companies or pharma, it is really a diverse workforce and a happy one as a result.' He said he visited LinkedIn recently which had a diverse workforce and staff were 'really happy' and 'in their space and in themselves'. The Cork TD said he is 'very anti' culture wars, saying they are rampant in the UK and the US. He said Ireland should 'avoid' it. 'There's too many activists in the UK on this stuff and Ireland should just avoid it. We have our ways of doing things, we should keep on the direction of travel that we began two decades ago or more,' he said. The Taoiseach said recent media interest over his comments in 2021 on how Irish people 'never were a homogenous group' is an example of how issues can get 'distorted'. He made the comments in an opening address to the Glucksman conference, which Independent Ireland TD Ken O'Flynn recently called to be clarified after the remarks were shared widely on social media. 'No one said a word for four years,' said the Taoiseach. 'We are in a space where there is distortion, where there is misinformation.' The Taoiseach affirmed support for LGBT+ people, saying on transgender people: 'Nobody should ever feel like they don't belong.' The Government is now facing legal action from the EU if it doesn't enforce European laws on hate speech and cyber security in the coming months. The Government last year decided to separate out controversial hate crime and hate speech legislation and drop the section on hate speech laws. The Taoiseach disagreed with the EU Commission, saying existing laws already go beyond the proposed EU laws. 'My understanding is the Minister [for Justicer Jim O'Callaghan] believes the Commission isn't quite accurate but it's a matter and we have to work out and deal with the Commission. We want to be in compliance with the European framework,' he said. 'In our common law provisions, we have moved much further than the Commission recognises.' He said the current hate speech laws, first enacted in 1989, were very 'far seeing' when they were implemented at the time. Mr Martin also said the Government and the Attorney General is currently considering a ban on conversion therapy, which the last Government also promised to ban.

Coleraine sign defender Long on multi-year deal
Coleraine have announced the signing of defender Adam Long on a multi-year 24-year-old is the latest player to join the ranks of manager Ruaidhri Higgins' squad, following the previous additions of Will Patching on loan from Carlisle United, plus ex-Linfield players Joel Cooper and Stephen Fallon and former Glentoran defender Kodi a left-sided centre-half, played for AFC Fylde last in the Isle of Man, Long left the island to join Wigan Athletic's academy in 2017, where he made a breakthrough into the first team and made 23 made a permanent switch to Doncaster Rovers in July 2022, remaining at that club until signing for AFC Fylde in January about his latest arrival, Higgins said: "He will bring a real physical presence, he's a big man and he gives you balance by being a left-footed centre-back."He's got a lot of really good attributes, he's only 24 and I'm really excited to work with him."He's young, he's hungry and he wants to come here and do well."
