Multiple matches added for Evolution 2025 on WWE RAW
Image via WWE A historic night is set for the WWE women's division as the company is set to bring back WWE Evolution PLE. The event will take place on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The first match for the card was made official by WWE's developmental brand, NXT. Following this week's edition of Monday Night RAW , three huge matches were officially announced for the show. WWE Evolution 2025 will see top-tier female superstars compete in marquee matches On the June 30th edition of WWE RAW, IYO Sky and Rhea Ripley met inside the ring for a confrontation. The duo had a great rivalry at the beginning of the year. Interestingly, it was IYO who defeated The Eradicator to become the WWE Women's World Champion and has remained the title holder since then. The Genius of the Sky announced that RAW General Manager Adam Pearce had granted her the choice of an opponent for WWE Evolution. She offered a title shot to Ripley, who accepted it for WWE Evolution. The second match made official for WWE Evolution will see the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships being defended. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh met with RAW and SmackDown GMs, Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis, to convince them to let Raquel Rodriguez find a replacement for Liv Morgan, who got injured a few weeks ago. They suggested Roxanne Perez's name, which they agreed on. However, they asked the team to prove their mettle and announced a Fatal 4-Way tag team match for the titles, where Perez and Rodriguez will defend the titles against one team from RAW, SmackDown, and NXT. The last match added to the WWE Evolution card was a huge Battle Royal announced by both RAW and SmackDown GMs in a vignette. They stated that multiple women will compete in the match, with the winner getting a Women's Championship match at WWE Clash in Paris Premium Live Event. Moreover, the NXT Women's title will also be defended by the champion, Jacy Jayne, against the No.1 contender who won a Fatal 4-Way match last week, Jordynne Grace. A former professional basketball player has been named a finalist in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards which recognises the most exciting, innovative and impactful entrepreneurs in the UK. Adam Pearce, founder and director of Rutherglen-based Minerva Innovation Group, has been shortlisted in the Scale-Up Entrepreneur of the Year category. The awards, sponsored by Allica Bank, are known as 'The Grammys of Entrepreneurship' and celebrate the most exceptional and inspiring business stories across the UK. In 2024, the R&D funding and tax specialists firm located at the Red Tree Magenta offices on Glasgow Road, scooped the SME News Business Elite Awards for the second year running. It recently trailblazed the industry by introducing equal parental rights - with all staff, regardless of gender, entitled to one year and five weeks off to be with their newborn babies. Mr Pearce said: 'It's an incredible honour to be recognised alongside some of the UK's most exciting and ambitious businesses and is testament to the hard work of our team and the high standards we set ourselves to deliver sources of R&D funding, namely tax relief, for our clients.' Minerva's R&D tax consultants deal predominantly with small and medium-sized businesses. Their diverse clients include veterinary medicine and livestock farming, racehorse breeders, architecture, construction and engineering firms. This year's shortlist includes more than 800 entrepreneurs, all recognised for their innovation, impact and resilience. Past winners include the founders of BrewDog, Grenade, ClearScore, Zilch and Unbiased, many of whom were recognised early in their entrepreneurial. The term 'The Grammys of Entrepreneurship' was first coined by serial entrepreneur and Dragons' Den star Steven Bartlett to describe the awards event which brings together 1500 entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders from all corners of the UK. Adam Pearce is making some big moves ahead of WWE RAW this Monday night. Tuesday night in the main event of WWE NXT, Stephanie Vaquer shockingly lost her Women's Championship to Jacy Jayne. However, it's not all doom and gloom for Vaquer as her time on the third brand has come to an end. Advertisement RAW General Manager Adam Pearce took to social media tonight via WWE's account to announce that Stephanie Vaquer is the newest member of the RAW roster and will compete in a Money in the Bank qualifying match this Monday against Liv Morgan and Ivy Nile, tweeting out: 'BREAKING NEWS! @Steph_Vaquer has officially joined the #WWERaw roster and will face @YaOnlyLivvOnce and @ivynile_wwe in a #MITB Qualifying Match THIS MONDAY,' WWE said in a post. WWE And Big 12 Expanding Partnership In A Unique Way
It appears that WWE and the Big 12 are reportedly expanding their partnership in an unexpected way later this year. Chris Vannini of The Athletic took to social media this week to reveal some interesting details behind the expanding partnership between WWE and the Big 12, tweeting out: Advertisement 'Sources: The Big 12 and WWE are expanding their partnership this fall. WWE will hold several episodes of Friday Night SmackDown in Big 12 markets, the night before football games. Includes a Week 0 show in Ireland before KSU/ISU and an Orlando show before UCF/UNC, Chris Vannini said in a post. This is a unique strategy by Triple H to attempt to engage with a new fanbase this fall and convert some college football fans into professional wrestling fans.
