June 29 - Addison Barger and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. each hit a solo home run to propel the visiting Toronto Blue Jays to a 5-3 victory over the Boston Red Sox on Sunday. Jeff Hoffman struck out the side in the ninth to record his 18th save. Buehler (5-6) took the loss after he allowed four runs on four hits in four innings. He walked three and struck out three. After Toronto went in front 2-0 on the home runs by Barger and Guerrero, Narvaez homered in the bottom of the second to cut the Blue Jays' lead in half. The Red Sox tied the game later in the second when Trevor Story singled, stole second and scored on Ceddanne Rafaela's double. The Blue Jays took a 4-2 lead by scoring twice in the fourth. Andres Gimenez drove in Lukes with a single to break the tie, and then Ernie Clement scored on a bases-loaded walk to Tyler Heineman. Toronto extended its advantage to 5-2 when Lukes drove in Bo Bichette with a single in the fifth. Boston was back within two runs after Nick Sogard scored on a double by Romy Gonzalez to make it 5-3 in the fifth, but that ended the scoring. --Field Level Media
