Bridlington school artwork on show at National Gallery
Artwork created by pupils at a Bridlington primary school is to go on display at the National Gallery over the from Quay Academy submitted their work as part of the Take One Picture project, which asks artists to take inspiration from a selected painting in the London than 83,000 children from 380 schools took part and Quay Academy was one of 40 that were free exhibition is due to run until 31 August.

Adele Wilde, art lead at the school, said it was "wonderful to to see their efforts celebrated on such a prestigious stage"."The project also helps our children appreciate art and meaningful connections with the works of the great artists," she Broadhead, the academy's principal, said: "We are really pleased to have been shortlisted for a second year running, and our children have really enjoyed the challenge."
