Quant Mutual Fund announces change in name of 4 funds
Quant Mutual Fund has announced the change in the name of its four equity funds. The changes will be effective from June 30. The fund house informed about these changes to its unitholders through a notice cum addendum. The notice read, 'NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT, pursuant to SEBI Master Circular for Mutual Funds dated June 27, 2024, regarding modification of nomenclature of schemes to align with the scheme categories, the names of following schemes of the Fund shall stand revised as under with effect from June 30, 2025.' View Details » Quant Absolute Fund will be renamed as Quant Aggressive Hybrid Fund. Quant Active Fund will be renamed as Quant Multi Cap Fund. The name of Quant Multi Asset Fund will be changed to Quant Multi Asset Allocation Fund. And lastly, Quant ESG Equity Fund will be known as Quant ESG Integration Strategy Fund. This notice-cum-addendum shall form an integral part of the SID and KIM of the aforementioned schemes and SAI of the Fund read with the addenda issued thereunder. Aditya Birla Sun Life Frontline Equity Fund is now known as Aditya Birla Sun Life Large Cap Fund. Aditya Birla Sun Life Equity Advantage Fund is now renamed as Aditya Birla Sun Life Large & Mid Cap Fund. And the last fund is Aditya Birla Sun Life Pure Value Fund which is now known as Aditya Birla Sun Life Value Fund. Earlier this month, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund announced the change in name of its two equity funds and mentioned that this move came pursuant to SEBI communication dated March 27, 2025, with respect to 'uniformity in the nomenclature of equity oriented schemes.
