Gruesome backyard find leads BSO to offer reward for information
A disturbing discovery of human remains in a backyard this month kicked off a Broward Sheriff's Office investigation. More than three weeks later, authorities are now offering a reward to anyone who supplies information that leads to an arrest.
Shortly after 3:30 p.m. on June 5, BSO was called after a dead person was found in the backyard of an abandoned house in the 1900 block of Northwest First Avenue in Pompano Beach, deputies said.
Detectives would later identify the person as Adler Corvil, 30. It is believed Corvil was killed in early 2024, the sheriff's office said. It's unclear how he was killed.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to call BSO Detective Steve Novak at 954-321-4325 or submit a tip through the SaferWatch app.
To remain anonymous, reach out to Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477, online at or dial **8477. If a tip leads to an arrest, the tipster might be eligible for a reward of up to $10,000.
