Indian tourists perform garba at Burj Khalifa; netizens say ‘TMKOC team reached' but ask ‘Daya bhabhi kidhar hai'
A group of Indian tourists were grooving to the traditional Garba to the Bollywood song "Chogada" from the 2018 film Loveyatri on the viewing deck of the world's tallest building Burj Khalifa in a viral video. The tourists, dressed in matching yellow outfits, performed Garba steps, drawing both admiration and outrage. While some praised the cultural expression, others expressed concerns about the appropriateness of such behavior in a public, international tourist space. Dubai-based content creator The Walking Lens posted it on Instagram. The caption attached to the video stated, 'A viral video shows tourists dancing to the Chogada song on top of the iconic Burj Khalifa! Would you dance there with your gang." One of the users said, 'TMKOC team reached.' Another said, 'Stop embarrassing the rest of us', 'Why is this glorified? We must learn to respect the sanctity of public places,' wrote a third user. The fourth asked, 'Daya bhabhi kidhar hai". Some were outraged over 'civic sense' as an internet user commented, 'Civic sense is a scarce resource.' 'Har jagah naachna nahi hota', 'TMKOC ghol ke pee liya'. 'Perfect example of 'Money can't buy class', "Common sense is not common these days," 'Civic sense?? RIP, 'Gokuldham society' were some other remarks made. The Burj Khalifa, officially inaugurated in 2010, is a globally recognised architectural marvel and currently holds the title of the tallest building in the world, soaring to an impressive height of 828 metres (2,717 feet). Located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the iconic skyscraper exemplifies cutting-edge engineering and innovative modern design. Designed by the architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), with Adrian Smith as the chief architect, the Burj Khalifa features a distinctive triple-lobed footprint inspired by the Hymenocallis flower. The structure is composed of reinforced concrete, steel, and glass, and includes a central core with wings arranged in a Y-shaped pattern to provide stability against high winds and seismic forces.

Columbus men sentenced for violent human trafficking, murder
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Two Ohio men were sentenced to life in prison Friday for operating a violent human trafficking ring in south Columbus and murdering a 39-year-old, Attorney General Dave Yost announced. James Antwan Dukes-Johnson, 29, and Michael Anthony Davis, 22, were convicted on May 8 of multiple felony charges including aggravated murder and human trafficking. The pair were sentenced Friday, with Dukes-Johnson eligible for parole after 96 years and Davis eligible for parole after 81. According to investigators, Duke-Johnson and Davis forced women into prostitution, then used the money to buy drugs. The pair are among a larger group of six conspirators, who are also found responsible for the fatal shooting of Adrian Smith, 39, two years ago. The four other participants all pleaded guilty previously. Columbus resident Tyler Leianne Payne, 31, has been sentenced to two years of community control for permitting drug abuse and receiving money involved in a crime. The other three parties are waiting to be sentenced: Sarah Rose Dotson, 34, of Columbus pleaded guilty to engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, compelling prostitution, trafficking cocaine and owning weapons under disability. Shahee Siler, 39, of Columbus pleaded guilty to promoting prostitution and involuntary manslaughter. Alexias Monay Lashel Carr-Johnson, 30, of Marysville pleaded guilty to permitting drug abuse and receiving money involved in a crime. The group is accused of shooting Smith on the 1900 block of Lockbourne Road on May 31, 2023. Police said Smith was standing in a parking lot when several people in a passing vehicle shot him and another victim, a 31-year-old who survived after being transported to an area hospital. In the hot deserts of Saudi Arabia, a giant building is rising that could soon become the tallest in the world. This amazing structure, called the Jeddah Economic Company (JEC) Tower, earlier known as the Kingdom Tower, will reach more than 3,280 feet into the sky. It is being built in Jeddah and is part of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. This tower is more than just a tall building, it is a symbol of Saudi Arabia's big dreams. Leading the project is Prince Al Waleed bin Talal Al Saud, who wants this tower to be a proud sign of what the country can achieve. Who is designing it? The tower is being designed by two famous architects, Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill. Adrian Smith also designed the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, which is currently the tallest building in the world at 2,716 feet. But now, with the JEC Tower, he plans to beat that record. The two architects are using the latest technology and eco-friendly methods to make sure the tower is not only strong and tall but also good for the environment. Their vision is to build something that's not just impressive to look at, but also smart and sustainable. How the world's tallest tower is being built?
