From Headlines To Harmony: Kuwait And Armenia Build Media Bridges
KUWAIT CITY, July 21: Dean of Kuwaiti journalism and Editor-in-Chief of Al-Seyassah and Arab Times newspapers Ahmed Al-Jarallah met with Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Kuwait Dr. Arsen Arakelyan at his office, during which they discussed ways to strengthen media cooperation between the two sides. They exchanged views on the role of the media in building bridges of communication among peoples and enhancing cultural understanding between Kuwait and Armenia. They also tackled the importance of responsible press coverage in highlighting bilateral relations and expanding areas of cooperation. Arakelyan praised the role played by Al- Seyassah and Arab Times newspapers in supporting diplomatic efforts, as well as their balanced coverage of the activities of the Armenian Embassy and the positive image it reflects in terms of rapprochement between the two friendly countries. He expressed his admiration for the analyses and articles published by Al-Seyassah. He revealed: 'I share the articles of the Editor-in-Chief with the Armenian press; because they reflect a balanced vision and present a rational, open and respected discourse.' On the other hand, Al-Jarallah affirmed the commitment of the Kuwaiti media to open channels of communication with diplomatic missions in Kuwait. He said the media remains a key partner in promoting the concepts of dialogue and openness among different cultures. He also lauded the efforts of the embassy in supporting joint cooperation, asserting that Al- Seyassah has always been a national platform open to all voices contributing to the promotion of understanding and peace among peoples. Also present at the meeting were Director of Legal Affairs Department at Al-Seyassah Attorney Hamada Al-Amir and colleague Bassam Al-Qassas.

Journalism needs presence on digital platforms: Al-Jarallah
KUWAIT CITY, July 14: Dean of Kuwaiti journalism and Editor-in-Chief of Al-Seyassah and Arab Times newspapers Ahmed Al-Jarallah received a delegation of female students from the College of Business Administration at Kuwait University in the headquarters of the newspapers on Monday. The visit was part of a field trip to media institutions organized by the college for its students to learn about the work environments in these institutions. It is included in the applied university project titled 'Between Paper and Screen.' Al-Jarallah briefed the delegation of students (consisting of Dana Al-Rifai and Fatima Al-Yaqout, who are majoring in Accounting and Marketing) on the history of Al-Seyassah's founding and some of the pivotal milestones in his journalistic career. He stressed that 'successful media work necessitates institutional vision, discipline, and a team that deeply and professionally believes in the media message.' He also addressed the transformations in the media landscape in the age of technology and social media; emphasizing that journalism today is no longer limited to paper, but rather requires an intelligent and integrated presence on digital platforms. He said 'media institutions must balance the solidity of print content with the speed of online interaction.' He called on the young generation of journalists to 'keep pace with these changes without losing the spirit and ethics of the profession.' He then offered the students a set of tips drawn from his extensive experience; underscoring the importance of 'combining academic study with practical experience, especially in the fields of management and media.' On the other hand, the students expressed their happiness over this experience. They pointed out that they chose Al-Seyassah and Arab Times newspapers 'because they are among the most prominent media institutions in Kuwait and the Gulf, and because of the distinguished reputation of Dean of Kuwaiti Journalism Ahmed Al-Jarallah's leadership, as well as his rich and inspiring professional experience. After the meeting, Al-Jarallah affirmed his full support for youth and student initiatives. He said 'The newspaper's doors are always open to all those who want to learn, take initiative and innovate in their field.'

Ahmad Al-Jarallah visits colleague Saud Al-Farhan at Al-Amiri Hospital
KUWAIT CITY, July 14: Editor-in-Chief of Arab Times and Al-Seyassah newspapers and Dean of Kuwaiti Journalism Ahmed Al-Jarallah, accompanied by retired Major General Faisal Al-Jazzaf, visited Al-Amiri Hospital to check on colleague Saud Al-Farhan, who is receiving treatment following a recent heart attack, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Al-Jarallah and Major General Al-Jazzaf inquired about Al-Farhan's health condition and wished him a full and speedy recovery

Al-Jarallah: Media plays vital role in bridging gaps
KUWAIT CITY, July 13: Dean of Kuwaiti Journalism and Editor-in-Chief of Al-Seyassah and Arab Times newspapers Ahmed Al-Jarallah, on Sunday, met with Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Kuwait Liu Xiang, who came to his office for a courtesy visit. The meeting included a constructive discussion on bilateral relations and media cooperation between the two sides, an open dialogue on the role of the media in building bridges of understanding between peoples, and the importance of responsible journalistic coverage in strengthening Kuwaiti- Chinese relations, especially in light of the growing rapprochement and cooperation between the two friendly countries in various fields. Xiang praised the role played by Al-Seyassah and Arab Times newspapers in highlighting the activities of the embassy. He also affirmed the importance of the media in presenting a realistic and balanced image of bilateral relations and supporting cultural dialogue between the two countries. Meanwhile, Al-Jarallah warmly welcomed the Chinese guest, while emphasizing the Kuwaiti press' commitment to strengthening cooperation with diplomatic missions, and supporting every initiative that contributes to deepening regional and international understanding and rapprochement. He praised the effective role of the Chinese Embassy in this context. Also present at the meeting were Managing Editor of Al- Seyassah Faisal Al-Matni and Managing Editor of Arab Times Marlon Aquino Malinao. Al-Jarallah, Japanese envoy discuss aspects to boost media cooperation
KUWAIT CITY, June 22: Dean of Kuwaiti Journalism Ahmed Al-Jarallah, the Editor-in-Chief of Al-Seyassah and Arab Times newspapers, met with Japanese Ambassador to Kuwait Mukai Kenichiro in his office on Sunday. During the friendly visit, they discussed various aspects of media cooperation between the two sides and ways to strengthen it in the coming period. They talked about several regional and international issues of mutual interest, as well as the important role that the press plays in strengthening relations between peoples, particularly through effective and balanced media coverage. Kenichiro expressed his deep appreciation for the efforts exerted by Al- Seyassah and Arab Times newspapers in covering the activities of the Japanese Embassy, and highlighting the importance of bilateral relations between Kuwait and Japan. He affirmed that the Kuwaiti press plays an important role in strengthening the bonds of understanding and rapprochement between the two countries.
