All India Russian Education Fair 2025 to be held on June 16
The second edition of All India Russian Education Fair 2025 will be held at The Grand Regent Hotel in Coimbatore on June 16.
Addressing reporters on Friday, C. Ravi Chandran, Managing Director of Study Abroad Educational Consultants, said the fair was scheduled to coincide with the NEET 2025 results and would highlight medical and technical education opportunities in Russia. The fair offerred access to over 10,000 MBBS seats in Russian government universities. He noted that Russia remained the only country fully aligned with India's National Medical Commission (NMC) regulations of 2021.
Aislu Gaifullina, professor at Kazan State Medical University, said the Russian government's annual 100% scholarship programme would offer grants to 200 Indian students this year. These grants would cover Bachelor's, Master's, Specialist, and Postgraduate programmes at leading Russian universities. She added that the cost of higher education in Russia was relatively low due to heavy government subsidies, and universities offerred adaptation and support programmes for Indian students.
Students who have passed NEET and secured at least 50% marks in core subjects (40% for SC/ST and OBC candidates) are eligible. Interested candidates should bring their Plus Two or NEET marksheet. For details, call 92822 21221.
