The OKC Thunder has signed Jaylin Williams to a three-year, $24 million contract extension. ESPN's Shams Charania first reported the news on Sunday. The third and final year on the deal is a team option. Advertisement Williams is a 23-year-old forward who was selected by OKC with the No. 34 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. The Thunder declined his $2.1 million team option this summer to negotiate the new contract. Williams averaged 5.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists this past season. The Oklahoma City Thunder has reportedly agreed to a three-year contract with Ajay Mitchell that's worth nearly $9 million. ESPN's Shams Charania first reported the deal on Sunday. OKC declined Mitchell's $3 million team option for the 2025-26 campaign to instead sign him to the new contract. Advertisement OKC selected Mitchell with the No. 38 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. The 23-year-old guard originally joined the team on a two-way contract but earned a standard deal in February by posting averages of 6.5 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 16.6 minutes. Mitchell showcased great efficiency by going 49.5% from the field, 38.3% from deep and 82.9% from the free-throw line. He also made good decisions with the ball and provided hustle plays with his strong motor. OKC is now set to bring back all of its rotational players from its championship run.
