Ajith, who's at the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium, is currently preparing for the third round of the GT4 European Series. Before his next venture, he will be a part of CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa 2025 Driver Parade on June 25. The team has partnered with Bas Koeten Racing to handle the technical grunt work. Ajith has already put India on the global map this year - third place at the 24H Dubai in the 991 category, another third at the 12H Mugello in Italy, and a silver podium at Spa's own Creventic Endurance Race in the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup class. He made his racing debut in the 2003 Formula BMW Asia Championship and later took on the challenge of the 2010 Formula 2 Championship, racing alongside fellow Indians Armaan Ebrahim and Parthiva Sureshwaren. In 2025, Ajith was awarded the prestigious Padma Bhushan, India's third-highest civilian honour. In A Nutshell Ajith will be joining the elite list of Spa Parade as he will drive through the heart of Spa city alongside the entire GT4 European Series grid.

AK64 Update: Ajith x Lalettan? Mohanlal's possible collaboration with director Adhik Ravichandran sparks fan frenzy
Ajith Kumar and director Adhik Ravichandran are expected to join hands once again for the tentatively titled AK64. Now, it seems that Malayali superstar Mohanlal is likely to share the screen with the actor. As per reports, including an X post by cinephile Amutha Bharathi, the makers of Ajith's 64th film have approached the veteran star for a pivotal role. However, an official confirmation about the film and its casting is yet to be made. Earlier, Ajith Kumar had confirmed that he would begin shooting for his next film in November 2025. The actor has decided to work on films during the racing off-season for a few years. As confirmation for AK64 is awaited, several other directors, including Karthik Subbaraj, Prashanth Neel, Venkat Prabhu, and even Dhanush, have been mentioned as being in talks with the actor. However, it seems Adhik is the top contender. Talking about the actor's motorsport career, Ajith recently launched his own team, Ajith Kumar Racing. As the team owner and racer, the crew managed to secure several accolades following their performances in Dubai and Europe. Coming to Ajith's cinematic front, the superstar was last seen in the action drama flick Good Bad Ugly. The movie, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, featured the tale of AK, a former crime boss popularly known as Red Dragon. After the birth of his son, the gangster decides to atone for his crime-filled past and serves an 18-year-long sentence in jail. However, upon his release, he finds out that his son has been framed for a crime he never committed. Now, AK must go back to his old ways to figure out who targeted his son and clear his name once and for all. With Ajith in the lead, the film featured an ensemble cast of actors like Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Das, Sunil, Prabhu, Prasanna, Karthikeya Dev, Priya Prakash Varrier, Jackie Shroff, and more in key roles. On the other hand, Mohanlal was last seen in a lead role in Thudarum, directed by Tharun Moorthy. Following the crime drama's success, the actor will be seen in a cameo role for Vishnu Manchu starrer Kannappa. Furthermore, the superstar would next be playing a lead role in Sathyan Anthikad's Hridayapoorvam, co-starring with Malavika Mohanan.

Last year, he launched a professional racing team, "Ajith Kumar Racing," and since then he has participated in high-profile races like the Dubai 24H Dheeraj and the Mugello 12H of Italy. Ajith 's transition to motorcyclists, while dividing his year between films and racing, has achieved significant success in just one year, strengthening his commitment to his passion. Ajith Kumar on early career criticism In a recent interview with Autocar India, Ajith opened up about his journey and critics. 'I don't measure myself based on how others perceive me. Actor and motorsport enthusiast, Ajith Kumar, has recently acquired a new McLaren Senna. Ajith Kumar, a popular Tamil actor and motorsport enthusiast, has just added a very rare supercar to his collection: the McLaren Senna. One of the only 500 units produced, the celebrity's new supercar sports a Marlboro livery with Ayrton Senna's autograph. Ajith Kumar is also well known for his participation in motorsports and owns a racing team called 'Ajith Kumar Racing'. The McLaren Senna supercar is track-focused, most likely bought to participate in the upcoming racing events. The purchase was posted on social media by his where the actor was seen checking out his new ride. Not just this, but the actor also owns multiple other high-value cars such as the Ferrari SF90, Porsche 911 GT3 RS, and McLaren 750S. The Mclaren Senna also gets more hardcore track versions such as the Senna GTR and the Senna LM (Le Mans). This unit is mated with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission for laser-quick shifts. With these specs, the Senna is claimed to reach a top speed of about 350 kmph.
