Israeli forces, settlers forcibly displace 20 families near Jericho

Around 20 Palestinian families were forcibly displaced on Wednesday night from the Arab al-Mleihat community, northwest of Jericho in the eastern occupied West Bank, after Israeli settlers established a new outpost nearby and intensified harassment, the Wafa news agency reported. The families, part of a larger Bedouin community of about 500 people, began dismantling their tents and leaving the area amid what local advocates described as mounting pressure from both settlers and Israeli forces. Hassan Mleihat, general supervisor of the Al-Baidar Organisation for the Defence of Bedouin Rights, said settlers had positioned themselves around the community's perimeter and were escalating efforts to force residents out. In a statement on Thursday, Al-Baidar warned that the displacement could erase the Arab al-Mleihat community's cultural and historical presence. According to Wafa, settlers on Wednesday brought livestock, erected tents and set up animal pens just 150 metres from Palestinian homes in the newly established outpost.

Settlers cut power line in Al-Auja community north of Jericho

Jericho – Saba: Zionist settlers cut off an electricity line in the Sha'lat Al-Auja community, north of Jericho, on Monday evening. The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported, citing Hassan Malihat, the General Supervisor of the "Al-Baidar" Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, that settlers coming from the direction of the Al-Auja spring severed one of the power lines supplying electricity to several homes in the community. Malihat pointed to the escalating violations by settlers against the Bedouin residents of Al-Auja, the latest of which was the establishment of an outpost in the middle of their residential area and the restriction of their movement. Settlers graze their livestock on Palestinian lands & storm mosque in Kisan

Jericho/Bethlehem - Saba: Today, Tuesday, Zionist settlers graze their livestock on Palestinian lands in the Ein Al-Auja community north of Jericho, causing damage to agricultural crops. The "Al-Baidar" organization for the defense of Bedouin rights confirmed that these violations are part of a policy aimed at controlling Palestinian lands. In another context, settlers, under the protection of the occupation forces, stormed the Kisan Mosque east of Bethlehem, where they caused chaos by dancing and singing. The Secretary of the Fatah movement in Kisan also pointed to the escalation of settlers' attacks on the village, including attacks on shepherds. Settler attacks continue to increase, as 68 cases of vandalism and theft of Palestinian property were recorded last month, in addition to the uprooting of 642 trees in several governorates.
