Iranian commander: Israeli occupier to receive graver response if commits new error

Tehran - Saba: The political assistant to the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Rasoul Sanai Rad, confirmed that the Israeli occupation "will receive a greater response than it did during the 12-Day War if it commits any foolishness" against Iran. He revealed that Iran "did not use all of its preparations for the 3rd Promise". Sanai Rad, speaking to Al-Mayadeen TV as part of its coverage of "The Nation Won," on Sunday and reported by the Iranian News Agency (IRNA) on Monday, confirmed that Iran was prepared in anticipation of an attack against it and had produced scientific documents before the Israeli occupation targeted its scientific centers. He emphasized that Tehran "expected anything from the occupation and took the necessary steps and measures." In the same context, Sanai Rad indicated that the United States inflicted some damage on Iranian nuclear facilities, but "did not destroy Iran's nuclear program, as US President Donald Trump claims." Sanai Rad explained that nuclear science today is "in the minds of our children," adding that Iran possesses the expertise that will enable it to achieve qualitative leaps in the future. The Iranian official added that the Israeli occupation never imagined that Iran could target the Weizmann Institute, adding that the occupation's mistake was that it "thought we did not have information about the targets we were striking." Sanai Rad said that the Israeli occupation "thought it could eliminate the regime," explaining that dividing Iran "is part of the plan for the new Middle East." He continued that the United States intervened in the war "when what the Israeli occupation was doing became a scandal." Regarding the targeting of the American Al-Udeid base in Qatar, Sanai Rad said that the radar installed by Washington was "of the latest type," and "perhaps this is one of the reasons we struck the base." Sanai Rad also emphasized that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution "emphasized that it is impossible to surrender to bullying, and told (the Americans and Israelis) that Iran is too big a morsel for them to swallow." Regarding the current situation between Iran and the Israeli occupation, Sanai Rad explained that what has happened is "a cessation of military operations, not a ceasefire." The Iranian official also emphasized that the Israeli occupation "will receive a greater response than it received during the 12 days of the war, if it commits any foolishness" against Iran. He continued, "Be assured that if they commit any foolishness, the response will be more devastating than the destruction in Khan Younis." In addition, Sanai Rad revealed that Iran "did not use all of the equipment it had prepared for Operation True Promise 3," emphasizing that it "would have used missiles with greater destructive power had the war continued." Sanai Rad reassured that Iran "has assets, particularly missile assets, that enable it to confront the occupation for a long time," noting that the destruction the occupying entity witnessed during "Operation True Promise 3" "demonstrated the extent of the damage the Revolutionary Guards can inflict." In a related context, Sanai Rad emphasized that confrontations with spies inside Iran "have turned into professional confrontations". He also said that the resistance has become stronger after "Operation Flood of Al-Aqsa," through "acquiring practical experience in confronting the Israeli occupation." Israeli forces arrest veteran Palestinian journalist in West Bank raid

Israeli forces arrested veteran Palestinian journalist Dr Nasser al-Lahham during a violent raid on his home in the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem early Monday morning. Lahham, a 58-year-old journalist with over 30 years of experience reporting from Palestine, is the editor-in-chief of Ma'an News Agency and director of Al-Mayadeen TV's office in Palestine. The pre-dawn raid on his home in the village of al-Duha, west of Bethlehem, was described by Al-Mayadeen as 'brutal and repressive'. According to Ma'an, Israeli soldiers stormed the house, ransacked the property, destroyed personal belongings, and confiscated computers and mobile phones before detaining the journalist. Al-Mayadeen accused Israeli forces of spreading chaos and vandalising Lahham's home with total disregard for privacy. 'We are not surprised by the occupation's sadistic practices and its hostility toward journalists' - Al-Mayadeen TV The Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs confirmed that Israeli authorities had extended Lahham's detention and referred him to Ofer Military Court until Thursday. The commission said the arrest is part of a broader policy of targeting journalists, particularly through the use of administrative detention. This controversial practice, routinely employed by Israeli forces against Palestinians, allows for indefinite detention without charge or trial, often based on undisclosed evidence. According to the commission, 22 of the 55 Palestinian journalists currently imprisoned are held under administrative detention orders. Most have not been formally charged, with accusations frequently linked to social media activity labelled as 'incitement'. Israeli crackdown on media The commission also reported that detained journalists face systematic abuse, including torture, beatings, starvation, medical neglect, and degrading treatment. Since 7 October 2023, conditions in Israeli prisons have sharply deteriorated, leading to the deaths of dozens of prisoners. Israeli violations against journalists and press freedom have also escalated significantly since the start of the war, with Palestinian journalists disproportionately targeted. In the Gaza Strip, Israeli forces have killed at least 228 journalists and media workers. Authorities have also banned Al Jazeera from reporting in Israel and the occupied West Bank, while barring international media from entering the besieged Gaza Strip.

Iran Launches 3 Missiles toward Dimona Nuclear Plant in Israel

Taarek Refaat Three missiles are heading toward the Dimona reactor in southern Israel as part of the latest wave of Iranian attacks on Israeli territory, according to El Qahera News, citing Iranian media. Also, the Lebanese Al-Mayadeen TV channel reported that Iran launched a hypersonic missile targeting Israel's Dimona nuclear facility and a major defense headquarters. If confirmed, this alleged strike would represent a significant escalation in regional tensions, raising fears of a wider conflict. Israeli media reported on Friday that the latest wave of Iranian attacks targeting sites in southern Israel has resulted in 18 injuries so far. Social media accounts circulated a video clip of a building in Beersheba, southern Israel, believed to belong to Microsoft, surrounded by smoke after being hit by an Iranian missile on Friday morning. On the other hand, Iranian media announced that it had launched a new wave of missiles a short while ago, targeting several sites in southern Israel, specifically in the Negev and Beersheba. On Thursday morning, Iranian missiles went near Soroka Hospital in the Negev and several other sites inside Israel, causing widespread destruction and material damage. The military escalation between Iran and Israel is entering its eighth day. After Tel Aviv launched a series of airstrikes against Tehran at dawn last Friday, in one of the most violent military strikes targeting Iranian territory in years, dubbed "Operation Rising Lion," Iranian authorities responded to the attacks at dawn last Saturday by launching a large number of missiles under the codename "True Promise 3." read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean News 3 Killed in Shooting Attack in Thailand
