Jul 04, 2025 Yas Waterworld has opened the gates to its largest expansion yet, adding more than 20 new rides, slides, and attractions across a newly unveiled 13,445 sqm area called The Lost City . The new zone builds on the park's original narrative, The Legend of the Lost Pearl , and introduces a broader range of experiences—from high-thrill drops to kid-friendly splash zones. Notable additions include Al Falaj Race , the region's first side-by-side dueling tube raft ride, and Bahamut's Rage , a log flume with steep descents and sharp turns. Several of the rides are tailored for younger visitors, such as Al Sahel Junior , a mini zero-gravity boomerango, and Dawwama Junior , a child-sized take on the park's iconic ride. Other new features include desert-themed slides like Al Mafras , winding aqua tubes like Red Dunes , and multi-person raft rides including Mataha Madness and Sadaf Swirl . The expansion brings Yas Waterworld's total attraction count to over 60, alongside extended summer hours and new on-site amenities.

The award-winning waterpark has unlocked an exciting new chapter with the launch of its expanded zone, which is packed with over 20 new rides, slides and experiences, taking the grand total of splashy rides, slides and experiences to 60. The new 13,445sqm expansion brings a fresh twist to the already beloved waterpark. Among the highlights is Al Falaj Race, the region's first-ever side-by-side duelling tube raft ride. Think friendly rivalry, lots of splashes and a few unexpected turns. For younger adventurers, Al Sahel Junior introduces the region's first mini zero-gravity boomerango, a scaled-for-size thrill that doesn't skimp on the fun. And then there's Bahamut's Rage, a high-thrill log flume-style ride that promises plenty of drama from the very first drop. Another one is called Al Mafras, a winding desert-themed water slide designed just for kids. Red Dunes, a twisting closed aqua tube delivers a high-speed swirl of excitement. Little ones will also love the Mini Dawwama, a smaller version of the iconic tornado ride – ideal for first-time daredevils.
