Saudi: Almoosa Health inks deal with MASAH Specialized Contracting
Riyadh – Almoosa Health Company signed a contract with MASAH Specialized Contracting Company at a value of SAR 192 million on 10 July, according to a bourse disclosure. The deal covers implementing preliminary construction works, foundation works, and the construction of the concrete structure for Almoosa Specialist Hospital project in Al Hofuf. Excavation and site leveling works have been completed, and the contract execution will commence immediately, per the approved project schedule. Meanwhile, the financial impact of the 14-month agreement is expected to start upon the completion and operation of the hospital. Earlier this month, Almoosa Health commenced the listing and trading of its shares on the Main Market of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul). The company offered 30% of its total issued share capital after the Capital Market Authority (CMA) greenlighted its IPO last September. Almoosa Health Co. signed, on July 10, a SAR 192 million contract with MASAH Specialized Construction Co. to carry out preliminary construction and foundation work for Almoosa Specialist Hospital project in Al-Hofuf. The contract also includes the construction of the concrete structure, the company said in a statement to Tadawul. The work scope of the 14-month contract includes all tasks outlined in these phases as per the approved designs and technical specifications. Excavation and site leveling works have been completed. The contract's execution will commence immediately in line with the approved project schedule and overall implementation plan. The company plans to finance the project through a strategic funding structure, combining proceeds from its public offering and long-term Shariah-complaint bank financing. The financial impact of the contract is expected to commence upon the completion and operation of the hospital, the statement said. There are no related parties to the deal.

Public bus transport project starts trial ops in Al-Ahsa
The Al-Ahsa Municipality announced the launch of the trial operations of the public bus transport project. The municipality said on its X account that the project involves a fleet of 41 buses, with routes being gradually activated. In October, Saudi Public Transport Co. (SAPTCO) signed a five-year contract with Al-Ahsa Municipality to operate the public bus network in Al-Ahsa (Al-Mubarraz, Al-Hofuf, Al-Jafr, and Al-Omran) for approximately SAR 93 million, including VAT, according to data available with Argaam.
