Justin Bieber's New Album Is First of More to Come: Everything We Know

Justin Bieber started his Thursday (July 10) by dropping his anticipated and long-teased new brand SKYLRK. The apparel line includes everything from slides and sunglasses to hoodies and tanks. As it turns out, the drop was only an appetizer for what was to come. By the afternoon, Bieber was teasing an entirely different project: his seventh studio album. Throughout the day, he has posted photos to Instagram of billboards in various cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Reykjavík (Icelandic singer Laufey commented on a post of the lattermost, writing: 'Skeifan represented'). The black-and-white images show Bieber standing shirtless in front of wife Hailey Bieber, who appears to be holding the couple's son, Jack Blues, though the 10-month-old's face isn't shown. More from Billboard It Looks Like Justin Bieber Is Teasing a Surprise New Album With 'Swag' Billboards & Tracklist 'KPop Demon Hunters' Slays Its Way to No. 1 on ARIA Albums Chart Saweetie Announces New Track 'Boffum' Ahead of Australian Tour Other images show a black background with the word 'SWAG' in all caps — likely the title of his forthcoming project — while others show the lengthy track list, with 20 titles listed. Bieber worked on the album with longtime collaborator Harv, as well as Carter Lang and Eddie Benjamin, among others. Sources say the project leans into Bieber's R&B roots, but is more experimental in its production and instrumentation. And despite the album's seemingly long playtime, sources say Bieber has been working on a ton of new music — and has another, more pop-inspired album on the way. The superstar has charted 11 projects on the Billboard 200, including eight No 1s: My World 2.0, Never Say Never: The Remixes (EP), Under the Mistletoe, Believe, Believe: Acoustic, Purpose, Changes and Justice. On the Billboard Hot 100, he has collected eight No. 1 hits. The last time he topped the chart was in 2021 with 'Stay' featuring The Kid LAROI; that same year, he also hit No. 1 with his smash 'Peaches,' featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon. Meanwhile, Sydney punk-rockers FANGZ are celebrating a milestone of their own. Their debut full-length album Shui bows at No. 8 on the Albums Chart, giving the five-piece their first top 10 appearance. The band, who have been active since 2019, are currently on a national tour and will perform at Newcastle's Hamilton Station tonight (July 10). Elsewhere on the Albums Chart, Lorde's Virgin holds strong at No. 2 after debuting atop the Vinyl Albums chart last week, and Sabrina Carpenter's Short n' Sweet sits at No. 3. On the Singles Chart, Alex Warren's 'Ordinary' extends its reign to a 16th consecutive week at No. 1, a feat that continues to cement its global breakout status. The viral hit has topped charts in over 25 countries, including the Billboard Hot 100. and U.K., and its parent album You'll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1) — which peaked at No. 15 earlier this year — lands at 23 this week. Legacy acts are also stirring activity. Following Oasis' U.K. reunion shows, the band's Time Flies… 1994-2009 greatest hits compilation re-enters at No. 50, while What's The Story Morning Glory? just misses the top 50 but sees renewed streaming momentum. Deacon Blue star tragically dead after courageous cancer battle

James Prime of Deacon Blue has died aged 64, the band have confirmed. In a statement, the band said: "We announce with great sadness that our brother, James Prime, passed away this morning after a short struggle with cancer. "Thank you so much for the messages of support that you shared over the last two weeks, they meant so much to Jim, his family and us." The heartbreaking news comes just days after James was receiving care in the hospital after falling seriously ill. The band shared last week: "Unfortunately he is seriously ill and undergoing care in hospital. We would like you to join us in wishing him well and to share your love with him." The band - also comprising Ricky Ross, Lorraine McIntosh, Dougie Vipond, Gregor Philp, Lewis Gordon and Tom Gordon -insisted they were given their bandmate's "full blessing" to go on tour without him. It continued: "We spoke to Jim yesterday about Deacon Blue's plans for the rest of the year, and he encouraged us to continue with love in our hearts and with his full blessing that the shows go ahead, even if it means replacing the irreplaceable James Miller Prime for the time being. "Together with Jim's family, we want to thank all the nurses, doctors and ICU staff for their ongoing care, professionalism and compassion." James, who was born in Kilmarnock and also worked as a university lecturer, had been with Deacon Blue since its inception in the 1980s. The band is known for their chart-topping hits such as Dignity, Chocolate Girl and Real Gone Kid. The band has undergone several line-up changes over the years, with past members including Graeme Kelling, Ewen Vernal, Mick Slaven, Scott Fraser, Taj Wyzgowski, Ged Grimes and Chris Henderson. Deacon Blue's 1987 debut album Raintown reached number 14 in the UK Albums Chart. After a hiatus in 1994, the band reunited in 1999 and have remained active ever since. This is a breaking showbiz news story. Rolling Stones have 'recorded huge new album' after scrapping upcoming tour

The Rolling Stones, which consists of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood, are said to have been working on a new album after deciding to scrap plans for a European tour The Rolling Stones are said to be working on a new album after reportedly deciding to scrap plans for a comeback tour in Europe. It's claimed that the group have more than a dozen songs ready to go after spending time in the studio. Bandmates Mick Jagger, 81, Keith Richards, 81, and Ronnie Wood, 78, are said to have been working in Metropolis Studios in London since April. It's reported that they are now in discussions over the release of their 25th studio album. ‌ It's been suggested that the trio have collaborated again with producer Andrew Watt. He worked with the Rolling Stones on their last album Hackney Diamonds, which topped the UK Albums Chart following its release back in 2023. ‌ According to the Sun, Mick, Keith, and Ronnie are working on the new album after scrapping plans for a summer tour in the UK and other countries. The band's potential European tour had been rumoured earlier this year. A source told the outlet: "Mick, Keith and Ronnie have been secretly recording their new record with their drummer Steve Jordan." It's claimed that the band are "happy" with 13 songs and are discussing when to release it. The source went on to discuss the rumoured tour, saying that it didn't work out. They said: "Originally, the plan was for them to bring their huge US tour to the UK and Europe this summer, but promoters couldn't get the dates to work." They continued: "Instead the Stones decided to get back into the studio and put down their next album." The source suggested that it's "massive" news for fans who didn't get a chance to see the acclaimed band perform live this year. ‌ There was speculation over a possible tour in January. It was suggested at the time that the band could return to the UK with their Hackney Diamonds tour to play four dates at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the capital city. A source told the Daily Mail that Mick, Keith and Ronnie couldn't wait to bring the tour to the UK. They said: "They've been planning it for months and are itching to get back out on the road and do what they do best, which is perform." Prior to subsequent reports that the tour plans had been shelved, it was initially suggested that they would also visit other locations in Europe. There was speculation that the other shows would be in Barcelona, Rome, Amsterdam and Paris. ‌ The speculation came following the Rolling Stones' Hackney Diamonds in the US and Canada last year. The trio performed at a host of venues, including SoFi Stadium in Inglewood and BC Place in Vancouver, whilst on the tour. The tour was in support of their album Hackney Diamonds, which was released the previous year. It was their eighth studio album to top the charts in the UK, following in the footsteps of albums like Aftermath and Emotional Rescue. The Mirror has approached the Stones spokesperson for comment.
