Broncos' 'extremely athletic' offensive lineman fighting for backup spot
Following the 2024 NFL draft, the Denver Broncos landed one of the top undrafted free agents available in Wyoming offensive tackle Frank Crum.
Crum (6-7, 315 pounds) was a high-profile UDFA and despite some struggles in preseason last summer, he ended up making the team's 53-man roster. He dressed for six games in his rookie season, playing nine snaps on offense and 24 snaps on special teams.

'He's extremely athletic," Broncos coach Sean Payton said when asked about Crum this spring. "It's always harder on the big guys because we're not in pads. He can move his feet really well. Again, he's a young player who when you go through these installations and for him, it's his fourth or fifth time now. You're able to play a little faster.'
Crum is fighting for a spot on the roster as a backup swing tackle. His competition for a spot will include Alex Palczewski and Matt Peart, two early favorites to make the active roster. Now entering his second year with the team, Crum isn't a lock to make the squad. He'll need to impress this summer.
