Paolo Nutini's family chippy announced temporary closure
Castelvecchi on New Street in Paisley will shut its doors on Thursday, July 10, to allow 'exciting upgrades' to take place in its kitchen.
The beloved eatery will reopen on Saturday, July 19, following the work.

In a statement on Facebook, the fish and chip shop said: "Kitchen makeover alert.
"We've got some exciting upgrades happening in our kitchen, but that means we'll be closed tonight for a whole week.
"We'll be back on Saturday, July 19. Thanks for your patience, and we can't wait to see your smiling faces when we reopen.
"Mark your calendars."
Earlier this year, Alfredo Nutini, Paolo Nutini's father, announced he was retiring from the chippy after 53 years.
The family business, which has been in Paisley for more than 100 years, was taken over by its manager, David O'Neill.
After announcing his retirement, Alfredo told the Daily Record that the business 'is still very much being kept in the family'.
He said: 'David has been with us for many years and is deeply passionate about preserving the traditions that make Castelvecchi special. He is a close family friend and, as such, the business is still very much being kept in the family.
Paolo Nutini is a well-known Scottish singer from Paisley in Renfrewshire.
The 38-year-old is known for his tunes, including Candy, Iron Sky, Better Man, New Shoes, and Last Request.
