Educational Visit Organised for Summer Programme Students
In the presence of the Northern Governor, His Excellency Ali Abdulhussain Al Asfoor, the Northern Governorate organised a field visit for students of the summer programme — held under the slogan 'Our Nation and King Unite Us' — to the Military Museum of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). During the visit, the Northern Governor expressed his deep pride in the museum's collection of artefacts and historical documents that chronicle the heroic achievements of BDF personnel. He highlighted the importance of such visits in inspiring national pride and strengthening loyalty and belonging among students by introducing them to the nation's history and the sacrifices of its heroes. Initiatives He affirmed that initiatives of this kind play an effective role in fostering national identity and enhancing awareness of the BDF's role in safeguarding the Kingdom's security and stability under the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The visit included a guided tour of the museum, during which the students explored various sections and exhibits, including paintings, photographs documenting the development of the BDF, models of historic forts, Arabian horses, traditional military uniforms, and medals symbolising Bahrain's rich national legacy.

‘Bayout' renovation project
In line with the Northern Governorate's ongoing efforts to enhance services provided to needy families and improve their living conditions, Northern Governor Ali Abdulhussain Al Asfoor, accompanied by Member of the Council of Representative MP Hassan Ibrahim, visited a house in Al Qadam that was renovated under the 'Bayout' renovation project. During the visit, the Governor affirmed that the initiative reflects the Governorate's humanitarian approach through partnerships with official bodies and civil society organisations. He noted that handing over renovated homes aims to provide decent and safe housing for underprivileged families, thereby contributing to social stability and improved quality of life. He also expressed appreciation for the anonymous benefactor who supported the project.

Northern Governor Receives Author Zuhair Tawfiqi, Commends Cultural Contribution

Labour Ministry Undersecretary opens Arab Open University Career Day exhibition
SK bahrain His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Labour, inaugurated the Career Day exhibition organised by the Arab Open University (AOU). Present were Ali Abdulhussain Al Asfoor, Governor of the Northern Governorate, and Sakeena Naser Ali, Assistant President for Administrative and Financial Affairs. gdfg vxcv The Career Day aims to introduce AOU students to employment opportunities and career paths offered by participating private sector institutions and companies. The exhibition also features student graduation projects and entrepreneurship initiatives, offering a platform for students to showcase their innovations and strengthen their entrepreneurial spirit. During the event, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman toured the pavilions of participating entities and reviewed distinguished student graduation projects. He highlighted the importance of such career exhibitions in guiding students towards optimal career options in the labour market.
