Metro In Dino 3 Weeks India Box Office: Anurag Basu's movie gradually moves towards Rs 50 crore net club after poor start
Metro... In Dino, directed by Anurag Basu and starring Ali Fazal, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Nina Gupta, Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma and others, has ended its 3rd week at the Indian box office on a slow but steady note, as has been the case for the film throughout its run. After a slow Rs 3.25 crore net start, it seemed as though there will be no way the movie will be able to manage even decent numbers. Dino Did Well To Hold Its Own Amidst Competition With Jurassic World: Rebirth and F1 doing the business that they were, and with Superman and a couple of other reasonably sized Bollywood films like Maalik and Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan hitting theatres immediate after, it looked like the movie would get completely sandwiched by its competition. That however didn't happen to be the case as Dino stood its ground, week after week. It netted Rs 25.45 crore in week 1 and dropped by less than 40 percent in week 2, as it collected Rs 16.25 crore. In week 3, the movie has added Rs 6.65 crore. These are excellent numbers considering that blockbuster Saiyaara hit the screens in this week. The Day Wise Net India Collections Of Dino Are As Under Particulars India Net Collection Week 1 Rs 25.45 crore Week 2 Rs 16.25 crore 3rd Friday Rs 1 crore 3rd Saturday Rs 1.70 crore 3rd Sunday Rs 2 crore 3rd Monday Rs 50 lakh 3rd Tuesday Rs 60 lakh 3rd Wednesday Rs 45 lakh 3rd Thursday Rs 40 lakh Total Rs 48.35 crore in 3 weeks Dino Looks To End Its India Run Netting Rs 55 Crore With Rs 48.35 crore net after 3 weeks, the musical romance is just inches away from the Rs 50 crore mark. It is likely to end its run in the vicinity of Rs 55 crore net (Rs 66 crore gross). The overseas collections are expected to end at an above-expected USD 1.4 million (12 crore gross), meaning that the movie will end up with a gross total of Rs 78 crore. This is not a solid or even a good number. But it shall be looked at respectfully since it opened to numbers where even a Rs 40 crore worldwide looked like a distant dream. Dino May Barely Breakeven BUT... Due to high production costs, the movie may just about breakeven at the box office. Had the costs been managed well, this could have been a profitable movie. All is not lost as T-series stands to gain big from the film's music. The music of Dino is a bonafied hit. Dino In Theatres Dino still plays in select theatres across the globe. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates.

Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal's Pushing Buttons Studios boards ‘Secrets of a Mountain Serpent'
Bollywood actors Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have joined Secrets of a Mountain Serpent, an upcoming feature by filmmaker Nidhi Saxena, as producers through their Pushing Buttons Studios. Starring Trimala Adhikari and Adil Hussain, the movie is set to have its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival 2025. Set in a remote Himalayan town during the 1990s, the film tells the intimate story of Barkha (Adhikari), a schoolteacher whose husband is posted at the border. "In a place where most men are gone and days echo with silence, Barkha finds herself drawn to Manik Guho (Hussain), a mysterious outsider who disrupts the fragile balance of waiting, restraint, and myth," read the official logline. Fazal and Chadda, who launched Pushing Buttons Studios in 2023 and produced acclaimed drama Girls Will Be Girls, said they were immediately drawn to the story of Secrets of a Mountain Serpent. "This is a story rooted in myth and yet is startlingly relevant today. At PBS, we believe in backing storytellers who take creative risks and Nidhi has crafted something singular, poetic, and soulful," they added. Saxena, who also wrote the film, said the movie is about women who choose to risk everything and follow their desires, shedding the burden of moralities imposed upon them by the world. It also feels like we no longer need to borrow men's voices to tell our stories. We have our own voice, which is strong, with femininity," she added. The project was selected and funded by Venice's Biennale College Cinema program. Saxena's debut feature, Sad Letters of an Imaginary Woman, premiered at the 2024 Busan International Film Festival to great acclaim. The Venice Film Festival is scheduled from August 27 to September 6.

Ali Fazal shares his simple fitness rules for fit body at 38, slams fad diets: ‘I see dietitians giving random…'
Ali Fazal may be known for his acting skills, but when it comes to fitness, he likes to keep things simple and sustainable. In July 14 interview with Instant Bollywood, the actor opened up about his approach to health and wellness, revealing that it's not just intense workouts or strict diets that keep him in shape. Ali Fazal discusses his fitness philosophy, focusing on adequate sleep and tailored diets. According to Ali, the real secret to staying fit and feeling good lies in something most people overlook, prioritising rest and recovery, especially sleep. (Also read: Ranbir Kapoor's insane fitness routine for Ramayana includes mid-air callisthenics, clap pull-ups, hiking and more ) What's Ali Fazal's take on fitness Talking about fitness supplements, Ali shares that he likes to keep things simple and natural. 'Creatine is a very good, safe supplement. It's natural and you can take it. It's great for muscle building,' he says, adding that while supplements can help, they're not the foundation of a healthy body. For Ali, the real secret lies in proper rest and recovery. 'The most important thing is sleep, because all the recovery happens during sleep,' he explains. 'The second most important thing, not the most important of course, is your workout and keeping a good, balanced diet. Other things depend on your body, because every body is different. The vitamins or supplements you take depend entirely on what you're eating and whether that food suits your body or not.' 'One go-to diet doesn't work for everyone' He also stresses that following a one-size-fits-all approach to dieting is a mistake. 'One go-to diet doesn't work for everyone. That's actually wrong. Many times, I see dietitians giving random diets to people, telling them to fast for certain hours or follow strict plans, but that's not how it works. Everybody responds differently, and it's important to understand what works best for you.'
