Green was hired as Golden Valley Police Chief in 2022 and has a 41-year career in law enforcement, starting with the Lea County Sheriff Department in Lovington, New Mexico. Green has been police chief in the cities of Boley and Spencer, both in Oklahoma, and Helena West Helena, Arkansas.
