Urban Decay Taps Viral Horror Star M3gan for New Product Partnership
Watch out; there's a killer Urban Decay partnership on the loose. Ahead of the highly anticipated release of 'M3gan 2.0' on Friday, the affordable makeup brand launched a chilling collaboration with Universal Pictures and the film's beloved, blond-haired murderess: M3gan. The AI doll, who went viral back in 2023 when the original movie dropped, was tapped to promote Urban Decay's All Nighter Setting Spray, a smudge-proof and transfer-resistant formula that locks in makeup for up to 16 hours. More from WWD Billie Partners With Charli XCX-beloved Accessories Company Ian Charms to Release Bush Positive Swimwear Lana Del Rey Channels Retro Glam with '60s-inspired BumpIt Hairstyle at Her Concert in Wales All the Beauty Retail Expansions of 2025 'We're thrilled to be partnering with Universal Pictures on 'M3gan 2.0.' The unique and unapologetic nature of M3gan aligns perfectly with Urban Decay's DNA, and we're excited to bring this collaboration to life in a way that showcases our iconic products — designed for you to stay flawless, no matter what chaos unfolds,' said Fernando Febres, head of U.S. marketing for Urban Decay. In a 30-second clip on YouTube, M3gan is seen sitting calmly on set, with her demonic blue eyes and innocent voice. 'Being me isn't easy. Not only do I have to save the world, I have to look this good doing it. Thankfully, I have my Urban Decay Setting Spray for a look that stays and slays,' the doll says. This partnership will include an in-person activation on Wednesday in Los Angeles, influencer partnerships and exclusive Urban Decay glam for actress Jenna Davis at the film premiere. 'M3gan 2.0' is the second installment in the sci-fi film series, which will see the doll reawaken to kill for good this time as a villainous weapon called Amelia threatens the future of the human race. Launched in 1996, Urban Decay was designed to be a mechanism for self-expression, with the punk and Gothic customer in mind. No surprise, the beauty brand's heyday was the 2010s, bolstered by the launch of its auspicious Naked Palette collection, which amassed over $1 billion in sales until it was discontinued in 2018. A little over a year ago, Urban Decay re-released the original Naked eye shadow palette, comprised of shimmery earth tones and misty gray hues. Urban Decay also joined forces with WNBA star Cameron Brink in 2024 for a multiyear partnership. As the official sponsor of the Los Angeles Sparks, Brink's team's partnership wasn't a total surprise. 'Partnering with Urban Decay is incredibly important to me because it represents more than just beauty — it's about investing in authenticity,' Brink said in a statement. 'Their commitment to individuality and originality aligns perfectly with my values, inspiring consumers to embrace their uniqueness.' My favourite Urban Decay setting spray is under £8 with deal stack
Setting sprays are an essential part of make up routines, especially during the summer months when hot and humid weather threatens the masterpieces we have created. The Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray has been my holy grail for over a decade, and now shoppers can add it to their routine for a bargain price. Usually retailing at £28.50, Cult Beauty is currently offering the full-size 118ml setting spray for £22.80 when the special discount code WEDDINGSEASON is applied at the checkout. The good news doesn't end there, as savvy shoppers can save even more money on the All Nighter Setting Spray through TopCashback. New members who sign up to the money saving site for free get an extra 2% off at Cult Beauty plus a £15 cashback bonus that they can use when purchasing the setting spray, bringing the cost down to just £7.42. Meanwhile, existing TopCashback members can take advantage of the extra 2% Cult Beauty discount, bringing the price down to £22.42. The deal runs until 11.59pm on Monday, May 26. Cult Beauty's discount combined with TopCashback's deal makes the retailer the cheapest place to buy the Urban Decay setting spray, with LookFantastic currently offering it on sale for £23.60. There are many reasons why I've stuck with All Nighter for so many years, the main being it's the only setting spray I've used that makes my makeup last from morning until night without the need for touch-ups. Beauty fans interested in exploring other makeup setting sprays may be interested in the MAC Fix + Setting Spray that's available at Boots for £29. For shoppers looking for a more budget-friendly alternative, the e.l.f Power Grip Dewy Setting Spray costs £10 at Superdrug. The Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray is suitable for all skin types and claims to lock makeup in place for 'up to 16 hours', which I've found to be true. It's waterproof, smudge-proof and transfer-proof, plus it uses temperature control technology. I'm not the only beauty fan who adores the All Nighter Setting Spray, with it boasting an impressive rating of 4.81 out of five on Cult Beauty's website. One impressed buyer said: "This is the best setting spray there is or ever was, even when I try others they have nothing on All Nighter. Keeps my makeup on all day, even at a festival in the rain." A second wrote: "I could not wear any makeup without finishing it off with this setting spray. My makeup lasts ages when I use it, it doesn't irritate my skin and it leaves my face feeling so fresh and hydrated." Unfortunately one Cult Beauty customer was left disappointed with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray, as they explained: "It stings a bit and also makes my makeup drip." However, another shopper left a glowing review which reads: "I've been using this setting spray for about 10 years and will never use anything else, I've tried many others but nothing competes. This keeps my makeup on all day and night even in the rain, pool parties and foam parties - my makeup did not budge. As soon as I run out I rebuy, this is probably the best thing Urban Decay has ever made." To take advantage of this TopCashback offer to get the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray for £7.42, new members can sign up for free here. Search for 'Cult Beauty' and click 'Get Cashback Now'. Shop and checkout on the website as usual, remembering to apply Cult Beauty's discount code WEDDINGSEASON, and the cashback will track and appear in the account within seven working days of purchasing. The £15 cashback will become payable and available to withdraw and spend after Cult Beauty has paid TopCashback the commission.

Just plop a pod in, start a cycle, and prepare to be amazed (and severely disgusted) by the sheer amount of brownish water that'll trickle out of your machine. A knife for the PB&J lovers who wanna make sure they scrape up the peanut butter from the very bottom of the jar. No need to settle for the oil that separates and hovers at the very top of the jar, this'll mix up your butter perfectly. Just apply it like a clear coat of polish to help your nails get all the cuticle-softening, nail-strengthening nourishment they've been craving. A pack of Mighty Patch pimple spot treatment to clean out any pore-clogging gunk that's festering right under the surface of your skin. Just pop one of these over a whitehead and let it sit for a few hours to absorb all the yuckiness stuck in your pores. A pet hair remover that can save your furniture from the unspeakable amount of shedding your furry bestie leaves behind in their wake. All you have to do is empty the roller when it's full, and it's good to go — no wasteful sticky sheets required! Because seriously, which one of your friends wants to sit on fur-infested seats? A detangling leave-in conditioner made from keratin, olive oil, and jojoba oil to soften and hydrate your little one's curls! Just spray it on damp or dry hair, and watch as these locks morph into soft, bouncy, and defined curls! A mold and mildew remover because the last thing you want to do on your day off is sprain a wrist trying to scrub out the pinkish mold from that long-neglected bathroom tile. Just spray, wait 15 seconds, and watch the mold disappear. Lazy cleaners everywhere rejoice!

'I tried Urban Decay's new setting spray perfect for summer'
I've been using the original All Nighter setting spray for over a decade, so I couldn't wait to try the new watermelon version Urban Decay has launched a brand-new setting spray in time for summer that will ensure the face stays hydrated and makeup remains in place no matter how warm the weather gets. I am a big fan of the brand's original All Nighter Setting Spray, which I have used for over a decade, as it is the only product that makes my makeup last from morning until night without the need for touch-ups. I couldn't wait to get my hands on Urban Decay's new All Nighter Hyaluronic Setting Spray to see how it would compare to the original. The product contains a blend of hyaluronic acid and watermelon extract that refreshes makeup with a hydrating spritz of moisture and provides a dewy finish. The brand says the setting spray 'encourages a plumper, bouncier appearance' and 'protects makeup against smudging or transferring for improved longevity'. Urban Decay's Hyaluronic Setting Spray costs £29 at LookFantastic, so is the same price as the popular MAC Fix + Setting Spray that's available at Boots. The MAC spray also hydrates, primes, sets and refreshes makeup, with the alcohol-free formula featuring vitamins and minerals, green tea, chamomile and cucumber extracts. Beauty fans looking for a more budget-friendly alternative may be interested in the e.l.f Power Grip Dewy Setting Spray. Costing £10 at Superdrug, this fine mist provides 'major makeup grip' and also gives the skin a dewy finish. After applying my makeup at 8am in the morning, it was time to put Urban Decay's Hyaluronic Setting Spray to the test. I spritzed it all over my face and the first thing I noticed was the delicious watermelon fragrance which is perfect for summer, as it's super refreshing and reminds me of sunny days. The mist is finer than the original All Nighter Setting Spray which I expected, as it's described as being a lightweight formula. I felt I needed to apply more spritzes when compared to the original to ensure my whole face was covered, but within seconds it had completely absorbed. The Hyaluronic Setting Spray gave my skin a gorgeous dewy finish that really made the highlighter on my cheekbones, nose, cupid's bow and inner eyes pop. When I came to take my makeup off at 9pm that night, my makeup looked as fresh as it did in the morning, with my highlighter still gleaming and the few blemishes I had were still hidden. I did have to reapply my lipstick after eating which is normal, as no setting spray has ever kept my lippie on. I sometimes need to reapply powder on the shiny parts of my face, especially on hot days, but I didn't need to do any touch-ups thanks to the setting spray. I've used Urban Decay's Hyaluronic Setting Spray several times since my first trial, including on bare skin when my face has required some much-needed hydration and cooling on hot days. It provided instant relief and gave my natural skin a lovely refreshed look. The only downside to the product is that, because I need to use several spritzes each time to feel like my face is completely covered, the bottle probably won't last me as long as the original All Nighter does. I'll still be reaching for the original when I want a more matte finish, however I have no doubt the Hyaluronic Setting Spray will be my go-to face mist throughout summer to keep my skin feeling hydrated and my makeup looking pristine with a stunning dewy finish.
