Jana Kramer defended her husband Allan Russell against backlash over his comments about masturbating since becoming a married man. After revealing he no longer saw a point in pleasuring himself since they tied the knot last July, the English soccer coach, 44, was widely criticized for sharing such a NSFW confession about his sex life. Weeks after her spouse made the revelation on her Whine Down podcast, the One Tree Hill star, 41, reminded listeners he made the confession on her episode about sex. 'It was a sex episode with a doctor who specializes in intimacy, in sexual relationships,' the mother-of-three stressed. 'It's not like he just randomly was like, "I don't masturbate." We were having a conversation.' She continued: 'Everyone just sees the headline but doesn't really know where it came from or the story behind it.' Kramer explained the topic of conversation came up when she 'asked how many couples would be upset if their partner masturbated.' Although Russell insisted he is more than satisfied with their 'healthy' sex life, Kramer stated she would not be upset if he masturbated. 'I don't like porn because it triggers from the past,' she said. 'I don't hate that he doesn't [masturbate] but I wouldn't be mad at him [if he did.]' As for whether Russell was bothered by all the headlines about his masturbating habits, the best-selling author revealed her man 'was so lovely about it.' Kramer, who shares one-year-old son Roman with the retired athlete, asked if he'd change his mind if she were cast on a huge series like Yellowstone. He answered, 'I'll be, like, phoning the producers and threatening the producers — "You need to change that scene. For the good of your health, you need to change this scene." 'That's not good for a marriage, that type of role, it's not, especially [for] a man who's not in the acting world. It's difficult. So, therefore, that's my opinion based on [the fact that] I'm not in that world.' To drive his point home, the Scottish athlete said to his wife: 'Can you imagine that we're both actors in a situation where I've stripped this woman naked and I start to go down on her. How would you like that, babe?' The One Tree Hill star weighed in about acting out physical scenes: 'It's literally the most uncomfortable thing ever.' She also noted that love scenes are typically filmed with only the actors and sound techs on set. 'It's so uncomfortable for the people that are doing it. And it's not a sexy thing,' the seasoned performer shared. The television star explained that she doesn't prefer those kinds of scenes, but understands they come with the territory.

Jana Kramer has accepted jobs that challenge her "moral compass". The 41-year-old star has to pay child support cheques to ex-husband Mike Caussin, and Jana admits that financial pressures have influenced some of her career decisions. Jana - who has Jolie, nine, and Jace, six, with Mike, as well as Roman, 19 months, with current husband Allan Russell - told Fox News Digital: "There's definitely some things, some ads that I'm like, 'Oh, I wish I could have gone back and maybe not done that ad,' but you know, you learn and you go back and you go, 'All right, I'm not gonna do that one again,' you know? "So sometimes when you gotta pay that child support cheque, it's just like, 'Well, this is a good cheque money. I'm gonna take this.'" Asked if she was referring to a commercial in which she promoted a sex toy, Jana replied: "It's OK, honestly it is what it is. "I'm not gonna do it again, like you know what I mean? Like I'm like, OK, I'm good now, like, you know? Like we're good, we're levelling up to a different [place], you know?" Jana has occasionally comprised her values because she needs to provide for her family. She said: "I am a sole provider, where I have a lot of pressure on my shoulders to provide for my kids. She shared: "I love when shows get rebooted and they bring back old characters because I like to see what they're up to. "I understand if they don't. I understand why some actors don't want to come back to a show that's been done, and they have closed that chapter. But for the viewers and the fans, I want to know what they're up to, what they're doing."

Work on more than 30 affordable homes in Paisley now complete
Built by McTaggart Construction, the 33 new homes for Williamsburgh Housing Association have been erected at Cartha Crescent. The delivery of the homes was made available due to the efforts with Renfrewshire Council and a grant of £3.2 million from The Scottish Government's Affordable Housing Supply Programme. The project site, located approximately 1.3 km southeast of the town centre, was previously an unoccupied area of land. It is claimed that the development will "provide much-needed affordable housing solutions" and contribute to "addressing the ongoing housing crisis in the region". Allan Russell, a local and the site manager who led the project to completion, said: "Cartha Crescent has been an excellent development, and it holds a special place in my heart as it marks my first project in a leadership role. "The opportunity to grow from starting out with McTaggart to leading this significant project highlights the dedication and commitment of the entire McTaggart Construction team." He added: "It was a real pleasure to have the chance to visit these new energy efficient homes, they have a really modern design, they are very spacious, and I was very impressed with the structural elements and fittings within each new home. "Williamsburgh Housing Association and McTaggart Construction have produced housing that is a credit to our town and the local community, they are to be congratulated. "With a bit of help from the Scottish Government this is the type of affordable housing that we should aspire to create throughout the country."
