A nasty attack in a Birmingham street left a man with injuries and police have now issued a CCTV appeal. The attack took place in Alum Rock Road on Saturday, May 24. A man in his 30s was said to have suffered injures to his face after being punched at around 3.30pm. He is bald and pictured with a thick beard and a dark coloured top. Officers are asking for the public's help to identify him. 'A man in his 30s sustained facial injuries after being hit in Alum Rock Road at around 3.30pm on 24 May. 'Anyone with information can contact us via 101 and quote 20/251507/25.'

Vehicles and engines recovered in Birmingham theft investigation

Vehicles and engines with an estimated value of more than £100,000 have been recovered by officers investigating a suspected stolen car. The seven cars, two motorbikes and other items, were recovered from a business unit on Naseby Road in the Alum Rock area of Birmingham on Wednesday, said West Midlands Police. Officers from the road crime team were investigating a vehicle when they were led to the address where the vehicles were stashed. All have now been recovered and will be examined, the force added.
