Manny Jacinto Reveals a 'Brutal' Deleted Scene From THE ACOLYTE That Showed His Sith's True Darkness — GeekTyrant
At Denver Fan Expo, The Acolyte star Manny Jacinto revealed that one particularly intense moment showcasing his character's viciousness didn't make the final cut. Jacinto played Qimir, a seemingly chill, wine-sipping rogue who's ultimately revealed to be a deadly Sith assassin known as The Stranger. While he already gets his hands bloody in Episode 5, there was originally a scene that pushed his brutality even further. Jacinto said, via Screen Rant: 'Star Wars has always been PG, but you want to find some brutal aspects of these fights… There was one moment, I think, where I just take one Jedi and keep slamming his head on to a rock, because we wanted to show how brutal this guy could be, without any remorse,' That's a level of violence we've rarely see in Star Wars . The moment likely would've been part of the episode where he cuts down a squad of Jedi who corner him in the jungle. Even without the extra head-smashing, that lightsaber brawl was already one of the most vicious in the frnachise. While The Acolyte drew plenty of conversation online, it ultimately struggled with viewership, despite being Disney+'s second most-watched series of the year. The show was canceled after just one season, which pissed a lot of fans off. The cast included Amandla Stenberg in a dual role as Osha and Mae, Dafne Keen as Padawan Jecki, Charlie Barnett as Jedi Yord, Carrie-Anne Moss as Master Indara, and Lee Jung-jae as Master Sol. Rebecca Henderson and Jodie Turner-Smith also played key roles, with Leslye Headland ( Russian Doll ) creating the series. According to cinematographer Chris Teague, the team stayed grounded in Lucas's vision during production: "Leslye would always say, 'What would George do? What would George think?' And that was our guiding principle." As for what's next in the galaxy far, far away, The Mandalorian & Grogu is heading to theaters next May, and Ahsoka Season 2 is also expected to drop sometime in 2026.

Trump's latest grift leaves us with one question: What does a Trump fragrance smell like?
As if we needed a new absurdity to toss onto the ever-growing pile of products being peddled using the president's name, we now have a new line of President Trump's Official Fragrances. The announcement came Monday in the same way so many announcements from Trump do — via Truth Social. "Trump Fragrances are here. They're called 'Victory 45-47' because they're all about Winning, Strength, and Success — For men and women," the President of the United States wrote. "Get yourself a bottle, and don't forget to get one for your loved ones too. Enjoy, have fun, and keep winning!" The 3.3 fl oz bottle retails for $249 on the official website. The image suggests that each perfume/cologne bottle has an image of a man in a suit on top. It's unclear whether that's supposed to represent Trump himself or not, even though the physique certainly bears no resemblance to the man himself. The description further suggests that the fragrance is "inspired by President Trump's history win," with the perfume claiming to capture "confidence, beauty, and unstoppable determination" and the cologne blending "rich, masculine notes with a refined, lasting finish." In other words, we have no idea what the scents actually are. — (@) It's a good bet that the official site didn't bother describing the fragrances because the sort of people who would jump at the chance to drop $249+ on Trump-themed perfume or cologne are unlikely to actually care about anything beyond proving their MAGA loyalty anyway. But where there are gaps, others are more than happy to fill in the blanks, and it didn't take long for people on social media to start theorizing as to what these pricy fragrances actually smell like. Here are some of our favorites: — (@) From the man who's always full of shit! — (@) The idea that this scent is perfectly formulated to mask the "evil, rotting soul" underneath is 10/10, no notes. — (@) Don't sniff too much of it. — (@) You know, because the Commander-in-Chief has a tendency To Always Chicken Out. — (@) Specifically, the smell of the US Constitution set on fire. — (@) Do grifts even have a scent? Well, they do now! It's just too bad MAGAs still couldn't smell them, even right under their noses. 'Masterpiece' horror movie with 'best plot twist ever' is streaming on iPlayer
The film has an impressive 86% on Rotten Tomatoes and has been described as "impeccably cast and smartly written". A chilling horror movie that's been dubbed a '10/10' must-watch by fans is now streaming at no charge. The film has garnered accolades for featuring the 'best plot twist ever' - and it's hitting BBC iPlayer for free this weekend. Bodies, Bodies, Bodies boasts an impressive 86% on Rotten Tomatoes and has earned glowing reviews for being "impeccably cast and smartly written", as well as "an uncommonly well-done whodunit". The plot centres around: "When a group of rich 20-somethings plan a hurricane party at a remote family mansion, a party game goes awry in this fresh and funny look at backstabbing, fake friends, and one party gone very, very wrong." With a young and talented cast, the film features stars like Amandla Stenberg from The Hate U Give, Rachel Sennott from Shiva Baby, and the comedian Pete Davidson. Horror enthusiasts believe this film is grossly underrated, with many voices on Rotten Tomatoes comments section singing its praises, reports Surrey Live. One fan remarked: "What initially seemed like a typical teen horror flick turns out to be a fun and surprisingly well-crafted film." Another added their voice stating: "Bodies Bodies Bodies is a sharp, satirical take on Gen Z culture wrapped in a murder mystery. "The dialogue is witty and self-aware, capturing the internet-fueled language of the TikTok generation. It's not your typical slasher flick; it's more of a psychological whodunit with a cheeky twist." Several viewers found themselves entirely gripped by the "insane" twist of the tale, with one confessing: "Best plot twist ever. Be prepared to be amazed." One viewer enthused: "A well done fun guilty pleasure murder mystery film with sure some cheesy lines but some good acting and scenes that hooks you in with twists and a wow of an ending." Another fan raved: "Another A24 masterpiece, insane plot twist, hilarious, it just has it all." However, some viewers were left unimpressed, with one dismissing it as "pure dribble" and another criticising: "Highly annoying, unlikeable characters. I regret watching this." In contrast, professional critics were largely full of praise, with The Times' Edward Porter noting: "In general the film crackles with life. It has a caustic script, a stormy atmosphere and a talented cast." The Independent's Clarisse Loughrey observed: "It's peak nihilistic entertainment, watching these souls try, in vain, to keep their fragile reputations intact while they're drenched head to toe in blood." Empire Magazine's Ella Kemp concluded: "Tense when it needs to be and awfully good fun throughout. Stupidity reigns supreme for these rich kids, but the filmmakers are smart enough to make Bodies Bodies Bodies stick the landing." The Financial Times' Danny Leigh also commented: "The title could hint at either sex or death, and both end up with roles to play in a movie carefully stuffed with rising stars du jour." Bodies Bodies Bodies is streaming tonight at 11.30pm on BBC One and will be available on BBC iPlayer after broadcast.
