Amazon's Fire TV displays are aimed at the budget market, and if you're low on cash, the 4-Series 4K smart TV is one of the best ways to get UHD resolution without breaking the bank. In PCMag's review of this unit, the site said that it benchmarked perfectly decently across all of its tests, with good color quality and brightness and a responsive picture.

Vizio is a budget TV manufacturer through and through, but its best sets show exactly how much value you can pack into a low price. In PCMag's review, the site gave this model an "Excellent" rating, praising its wide color range and low input lag. The Quantum Color QLED panel gives you rich contrasts and over 1 billion individual colors, and the refresh rate is lightning-fast; you can even drop the resolution to 1080p and get 240 frames per second.

Although Roku started out with set-top boxes, its midrange and budget TVs are worth checking out, and you even get that soothing Roku City screensaver at no extra charge. PCMag reviewed this model when it came out and gave it an "Excellent" rating, saying that the Roku Plus was simple to set up and use, and the QLED panel gave wide color coverage and solid picture quality.
