Anshula Kapoor admits she 'intentionally spent less time' with aunt Maheep Kapoor on The Traitors: 'I wanted to talk to Arjun bhaiya'

In a recent chat with Pinkvilla, Anshula revealed that all the contestants were cut off from the outside world a night before filming began. Their phones were confiscated, luggage inspected, and electronic devices removed.
This sudden disconnection made Anshula realise just how dependent she had become on her phone. 'It took me almost two days to adjust. There was more than one occasion when I wanted to talk to Arjun (Kapoor) bhaiya, I wanted to talk to my sisters and Rohan,' she admitted, adding that she craved human connection during that time.

Anshula described her aunt Maheep Kapoor's eviction from the show as deeply emotional. She acknowledged feeling comforted by Maheep's presence and initially thought it would make things easier.
She revealed that the two had to distance themselves intentionally to avoid raising suspicions about being traitors. 'Chachi could have easily been emotional or wanted us to be more on guard. But she was like, 'Yeh game hai, hum game khelne aaye hain…'' Anshula recalled. According to her, Maheep maintained a clear boundary between the show and their personal life.
Anshula said her relationship with Maheep remained unaffected. She appreciated her aunt's mature approach, which helped preserve their bond. 'Woh ghar hai, family hai,' Anshula added.
