Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise reunite at F1 London premiere

Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise reunited publicly for the first time in 24 years at the European premiere of F1: The Movie in London's Leicester Square. The two Hollywood icons, who last starred together in 1994's Interview With the Vampire , shared a warm embrace and posed arm in arm on the red carpet. This delighted fans and sparked excitement about a possible future collaboration. Brad Pitt, 61, looked sharp in a hunter green double-breasted suit paired with a mint green scarf and tortoise shell sunglasses. Cruise, 62, wore his signature aviators with a classic grey suit, according to Page Six. The pair appeared relaxed and jovial, with Cruise even patting Pitt's lapel and the two sharing laughs throughout the evening. The reunion marked their first joint public appearance since 2001. That year, they were photographed together at the 9/11 benefit concert America: A Tribute to Heroes in Los Angeles. Since then, both actors have carved distinct paths: Pitt has earned two Academy Awards. Tom Cruise has continued his action-packed career with the Mission: Impossible franchise. Pitt recently joked about a potential on-screen reunion with Cruise, saying he'd only join him if the stunts stayed 'on the ground.' 'I'm not going to hang my ass off airplanes and s–t like that,' Pitt told E! News. 'So when he does something again that's on the ground, [then yes].' Tom Cruise, meanwhile, reminisced about their friendly go-kart racing during the filming of Interview With the Vampire . He called Pitt a 'very good driver.' Pitt admitted, 'He got me in the end, I gotta admit.' The premiere also featured appearances by F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali and seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton. Brad Pitt stars as Sonny Hayes, a retired Formula One driver mentoring a rising star, played by Damson Idris. The film, directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, opens in cinemas on 27 June. Let us know by leaving a comment below, or send a WhatsApp to 060 011 021 1. Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise reunite on the red carpet after 24 years for F1 London premiere

Ever seen a better looking frame? Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise photographed in 1998; The actors reunite for the F1 London premiere(Photos: X) The London premiere of soon-to-release F1, saw man of the hour, Brad Pitt being joined by none other than good friend Tom Cruise. Dapperly dressed, the adrenaline junkies posed for the cameras putting an end to the 24-year long wait for their public reunion. Wondering why Brad and Tom on the red carpet together is creating such a frenzy (besides of course the good looks, good looks, good looks)? The last time this bromance was captured in public, was back in 2001 for the America: A Tribute to Heroes concert. Seeing Brad and Tom's energy together surely stokes conversation about the two potentially starring together in a film again — maybe even something grand and high octane. It's worth mentioning here that in their expansive, larger-than-life careers, Brad and Tom have only starred together once, for the 1994 horror fantasy film, Interview with the Vampire. Coming back to the present, Brad may be understandably stealing the spotlight for F1, but the Joseph Kosinski directorial is actually a 2-man show. Brad stars as Sonny Hayes, a former Formula One driver, drawn back into the sport to mentor fresh blood, played by Damson Idris. F1 brings the thrill and pump of the real Formula One scene to the audience, what with the film being shot over real F1 weekends with Brad and Damson even performing their own driving scenes. Also expect to see cameos from some real-life F1 heavyweights, sewn into the narrative. Speaking of Damson, the young actor is definitely star-struck by Brad and his aura. In a byte to ET at a previous red carpet, the actor shared his most surreal moment, while filming for F1: "I mean the biggest moment was really in England, in Silverstone. You know the fireworks going over, I look to my right, it's Max Verstappen, I look to my left, it's Brad Pitt, and I'm trying to stay cool and I mean Brad Pitt is really handsome. I'm trying to look, I'm trying to look MORE handsome...I'm trying to look cute! But inside I was screaming, I just felt so blessed and I'm just so, so privileged to be a part of this movie". F1 is slated for a release, later this week.

Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise reunite after 24 years at ‘F1' premiere in London

Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise shared a rare public reunion at the London premiere of Pitt's upcoming film F1, marking their first red carpet appearance together in 24 years. The actors were last photographed together in 2001 at the America: A Tribute to Heroes concert. The reunion took place at the European premiere of F1, directed by Joseph Kosinski. A video shared by the official Formula 1 Instagram page captured Cruise, Pitt and Kosinski greeting each other with a warm hug, smiling, and chatting while posing for the cameras. The clip was captioned, 'The moment Tom Cruise surprised us on the #F1TheMovie red carpet!' Photos from the event showed the two actors alongside Kosinski, producer Jerry Bruckheimer, and Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali. Cruise later posted on X, formerly Twitter, saying, 'Great night at the movies with my friends!! You guys crushed it!!' Pitt wore a green suit and shirt, while Cruise appeared in a charcoal suit and grey shirt. Great night at the movies with my friends!! You guys crushed it!! — Tom Cruise (@TomCruise) June 23, 2025 F1, set to release in theatres on June 25, stars Pitt as Sonny Hayes, a former Formula One driver brought back into the sport to mentor a young talent, played by Damson Idris. The film was shot during real Formula One race weekends, with both actors performing their own driving scenes. Several real-life F1 drivers also make appearances. The London premiere marked a moment of nostalgia for fans, as Pitt and Cruise have only starred together once before — in the 1994 horror film Interview with the Vampire. The unexpected reunion of the two major stars, both linked through Kosinski's directorial work on Top Gun: Maverick and F1, seems to have bossted excitement to the summer blockbuster's debut.

Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise reunite at F1 London premiere, three decades after sinking their teeth into Interview with the Vampire

Fans were in for a treat on June 23 when Tom Cruise made a surprise appearance to support Brad Pitt at the London premiere of the much-anticipated film F1. The red carpet moment quickly stole the spotlight as the two actors, who starred together in Interview with the Vampire nearly 30 years ago, reunited outside the Odeon Luxe in Leicester Square. Their natural camaraderie instantly became one of the highlights of the night, sparking a wave of nostalgia among long-time fans who've been hoping to see the pair share a moment like this again in public. Set in the high-speed world of professional racing, F1 stars Brad Pitt as a former Formula One driver who comes out of retirement to mentor a rising talent and take one last shot at redemption. Directed by Joseph Kosinski, who also helmed Top Gun: Maverick, the film blends on-track action with an underdog comeback story and is already generating major buzz ahead of its theatrical release on June 27. Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise reunite after 30 years While Pitt plays the lead, Tom Cruise, fresh off the success of his film, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, came out to support the premiere as a guest, making it the first time in decades the two A-listers have been seen together at a major public event. Their last on-screen collaboration was in the 1994 gothic cult classic Interview with the Vampire, where Cruise played the charming vampire Lestat and Pitt took on the role of the brooding Louis. The film was filled with dramatic striking visuals, and seeing the two of them reconnect definitely made for a moment that will go down well in Hollywood history. And just like that….it's 1994 all over again. #TomCruise & #BradPitt — Courtney Howard (@Lulamaybelle) June 23, 2025 Wearing a forest green suit paired with a soft sage scarf, Pitt lit up the moment he spotted Cruise approaching. Cruise, dressed in a slate grey suit and a crisp blue shirt, returned the energy with a wide smile. The two Hollywood icons embraced warmly and posed side by side for the cameras, making it their first official red carpet appearance together since the America: A Tribute to Heroes benefit concert back in 2001. Fans have been hoping for an onscreen reunion for years, but so far, it's all just wishful thinking. Pitt recently poked fun at the idea during an interview with E! News, joking, 'I'm not going to hang my ass off aeroplanes,' before adding that he'd consider teaming up with Cruise 'when he does something again that's on the ground.' Meanwhile, in a separate interview with CinemaBlend during CinemaCon 2025, Cruise said, 'It's great to see Brad behind the wheel. He's a really skilled driver. Trust me, I've raced him before. Back when we were filming Interview with the Vampire, we'd wrap up for the day and spend our nights racing go-karts.' Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise Reunite Publicly After 24 Years At F1 Premiere, Fans Go Wild Online

Last Updated: Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise's surprise red carpet reunion in London after 24 years sparks excitement, with fans hoping they team up again for a film. Hollywood's golden boys, Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise, sent the internet into a collective meltdown after reuniting publicly for the first time in 24 years. The reunion took place at the London premiere of Pitt's highly anticipated racing movie F1, where the Interview With the Vampire co-stars embraced warmly on the red carpet, bringing back a wave of nostalgia and renewed fan fervor. Dressed in a forest green suit and sage scarf, Brad Pitt couldn't hide his excitement as he spotted Tom Cruise, who looked sharp in a slate grey suit and blue shirt. The two Hollywood heavyweights shared a heartfelt hug and happily posed together for cameras, marking their first red carpet moment together since the 2001 America: A Tribute to Heroes concert. View this post on Instagram A post shared by FORMULA 1® (@f1) Since then, both actors have carved distinct paths. Pitt, now 61, has picked up two Academy Awards, while Cruise, 62, has continued his reign as the king of high-octane action with six more Mission: Impossible films under his belt. Fans have long speculated about a possible onscreen reunion, but Pitt recently joked about Cruise's signature death-defying stunts. 'I'm not gonna hang my ass off airplanes," Pitt quipped in an interview with E! News, teasing he'd only consider a film with Cruise 'when he does something again that's on the ground." Still, Pitt acknowledges the support from Cruise, particularly since their time filming Interview With the Vampire in the '90s. Reminiscing about their go-kart races on set, Pitt laughed, 'He got me in the end, I gotta admit." Cruise, too, returned the compliment, calling Pitt a natural driver: 'Believe me, I've raced against him. He's very good." Both actors are now leading major summer blockbusters. Cruise returned as Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, which broke franchise records with a $200 million global opening and is continuing strong with $540 million in earnings. Meanwhile, Pitt stars in F1, directed by Top Gun: Maverick's Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer—who also produced Mission: Impossible. Interestingly, Kosinski had once tried to reunite Cruise and Pitt in his version of Ford v Ferrari, where both actors would've done their own driving stunts. The project never materialized, and James Mangold eventually directed the film with Christian Bale and Matt Damon. Now, Pitt gets his moment behind the wheel in F1, a film that Cruise himself has praised. First Published: June 24, 2025, 04:15 IST
