Leverkusen star pushes for Wolves move
Having already said goodbye to several key players this summer, Bayer Leverkusen could be set for another departure. According to Bild, Amine Adli has asked the club's management for permission to enter talks with Wolverhampton Wanderers after receiving an offer from the Premier League side. Wolves have reportedly contacted Leverkusen as well, with negotiations currently underway. However, the two clubs remain far apart in their valuation. Die Werkself are said to be demanding around €30 million including bonuses for the 25-year-old attacking midfielder. West Ham United are also believed to be interested in Adli, who joined Leverkusen from Toulouse in 2021 for a reported €7.5 million. The Moroccan international signed a contract extension in November, committing himself to Leverkusen until 2028.

Wolves express interest in Bayer Leverkusen's Amine Adli
Sport Bild – as relayed by – reports that Wolves are interested in Bayer Leverkusen attacker Amine Adli. The 25-year-old himself is said to have requested that his Bundesliga club enter into negotiations with the Premier League outfit. The report nevertheless notes that the two clubs remain far apart on a potential transfer fee. Adli – after an injury-interrupted 2024/25 campaign – has seen his estimated market value decline to €18m. Germany's red company team remain convinced that Adli is still worth €30m. Adli attained this career-high-value in May of 2024 as part of B04 head coach Xabi Alonso's league/cup winning undefeated squad. As for the player's personal wishes, Adli has furnished inconsistent statements in recent weeks. West Ham and Wolves in race for Amine Adli
West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are both interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen forward Amine Adli this summer. The 25-year-old Morocco international, who is keen on a move to England, is valued at around £23m ($30.9m) by the Bundesliga side. Adli won the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal with Leverkusen in 2023-24, contributing 10 goals and 12 assists in 42 appearances across all competitions. However, his 2024/25 campaign was hampered by a broken fibula, which sidelined him for over three months. He returned in January but managed only two goals and two assists. French football journalist Julien Laurens reported: 'I'm told that Amine Adli is attracting interest from Premier League clubs. Wolves and West Ham are keen on the Bayer Leverkusen forward. He is keen on a move to England. His valuation is around £23m.' West Ham are looking to bolster their attack after selling Mohammed Kudus to Tottenham Hotspur for £55m ($73m). Wolves, who recently sold Matheus Cunha to Manchester United for £62.5m ($84m), are also in the market for a versatile forward. Adli, who has 23 goals and 24 assists in 142 games for Bayer Leverkusen, can operate across the front line and in midfield. He moved from Toulouse to Germany in 2021. Xabi Alonso praised the Moroccan during his time in charge at Leverkusen, saying: 'Amine shows hunger, intensity and he has that quality. If he can combine the lot consistently, we'll see what a good player he can be.' Leverkusen's sporting director Simon Rolfes added: 'Amine's very fast, has good technique, is extremely agile and skilful.' Both Premier League sides are monitoring the situation closely. While Wolves have struggled to compete financially this window, they are reportedly willing to allocate funds to sign Adli. West Ham, meanwhile, are yet to make an attacking addition to their senior squad. Adli, capped 15 times by Morocco, is under contract until June 2026. Amine Adli: "It's not easy for me"
Bayer Leverkusen have said goodbye to three key figures this summer - Jeremie Frimpong, Jonathan Tah, and Florian Wirtz. More than just important performers on the pitch, the trio also held significant influence within the dressing room. Their departures have hit Amine Adli hard on a personal level, as the three were among his closest friends in the squad. 'In the first weeks of pre-season, I really feel it. I miss them a lot. Because, as everyone knows, I was very close with Jerry, Jona, and Flo. It's not easy for me now, but I have new teammates,' Adli told Bild, adding: 'I'm very happy for the three of them because they wanted to go where they are now. It's great for them. I think they've made a very good step. I wish them all the best because they are my brothers. That's part of football. I will always look out for them. When I have time, I'll visit them or they'll come visit us. We'll always stay in contact.' Looking ahead, Adli also shared his plans for the season: 'First, I want to finish the training camp and play the game on Friday against Flamengo's U20. I am 100 percent here. I need a full season to find my rhythm again. It's very important for me to find my happiness. I want to be a very important player for the team and the club. This season is very important to me. I want to have a big impact on the team and play as much as possible.'
