From a council estate in Lincoln, Ampa group chief executive Sarah Walker-Smith became the first and only female non-lawyer to lead a top-50 law firm. She steered the firm to become the largest legal and professional services group to achieve B Corporation accreditation (meaning they are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on people, customers, suppliers, communities, and the environment) and has increased turnover by over 65 per cent in just three years.
