THE LIBRARIANS: THE NEXT CHAPTER Go Film Noir in Episode 8 Sneak Peek
Ooooh, I love me a cross-genre episode, especially when there are The Moonstone -esque flashbacks from multiple perspectives. That's all to say that next week's episode of The Librarians: The Next Chapter , Season 1 Episode 8, 'And the Hangover From Hell,' might be my favorite episode of the season.

In the sneak peek episode below, we get a taste of what we're in for as each of the team members describes what they remember. The clip below focuses on Charlie's (Jessica Green) side of the story, where she discovers that Lysa's (Olivia Morris) friend, Suki (Daniela Norman), has nefarious plans. In Charlie's film noir black-and-white stylized version, Vikram (Callum McGowan) is deep into his cups, while she snoops into Suki's phone. She learns that Suki's bachelorette party was a ruse, and suspects that Lysa is Suki's target. When she confronts Suki about her effect on Lysa, Suki lashes out that Lysa's changed. Suki accuses Charlie and the rest of the team of changing her friend into someone unrecognizable.

It's clear something dramatic has happened to our team. Everyone in the full-color world shows fresh scars, with Connor holding his bandaged leg. All we know is that Suki is the center of the conflict. Charlie believes she's taking advantage of Lysa. Connor reports that Suki's using a magical artifact. Vikram is unusually quiet, while Lysa looks beset upon and defensive.
While Suki's party appears to be the crux of the plot, Suki herself is nowhere to be seen in the team's debriefing. Where has she gone? What is her plan? And why would she expect the Gregor's Hammer band to know how to play 'Dancing Queen'? Tune in and find out.
