Inter monitoring Stuttgart's Angelo Stiller as Calhanoglu replacement
Angelo Stiller is a name that has been linked to the European elite intensely over the last year or so. Now, Inter are seemingly interested in bringing the German midfielder to Italy. As per the reliable Gianluigi Longari, the Nerrazzuri have Stiller in their sights, if Hakan Calhanoglou does end up leaving. Given the recent public war of words between Calhanoglou and Inter captain Lautaro Martinez, it will be surprising if the Turkish midfielder ends up staying. There is heavy interest from Galatasaray and Inter are reportedly open to selling the player. Stiller would make a very good replacement for Cristian Chivu's side. Advertisement The 24 year old is an excellent passer and reader of the game from deeper midfield areas and he has also been linked to Real Madrid too this summer. It has been touted that Stuttgart will ask for €40m for the midfielder who has been touted as the 'new Toni Kroos '. Kaulik Mitra | GIFN

Inter Milan Lower Calhanoglu Asking Price To €30M – Atalanta & Stuttgart Stars Top Replacement Shortlist Over Lazio & Sporting CP Players
Inter Milan have lowered their asking price to Hakan Calhanoglu to €30 million, with Ederson and Angelo Stiller at the top of their shortlist of replacements. This according to today's print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that Nicolo Rovella and Morten Hjulmand would be less likely targets. Advertisement Hakan Calhanoglu's situation is now the big uncertainty in Inter's summer transfer window. It is no secret that Galatasaray want to sign the 31-year-old. Reports of the Turkish champions' interest emerged right around three weeks ago. And rumours suggest that Calhanoglu actually wants the move. And he could even push to make it happen. While Galatasaray are ready to offer Hakan Calhanoglu a big money contract, they are less inclined to spend big on a transfer fee. Reportedly, the Istanbul giants are even hoping to pay just €15 million. That would be far below Inter's demands, reportedly in the ballpark of €35-40 million. Inter Drop Calhanoglu Price Tag To €35-40M – Ederson & Stiller Top Shortlist Of Replacements MONZA, ITALY – MAY 04: Ederson of Atalanta BC in action during the Serie A match between AC Monza and Atalanta BC at U-Power Stadium on May 04, 2025 in Monza, Italy. (Photo by) According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, though, Inter may not hold out for quite that match. Advertisement The newspaper anticipate that, should Calhanoglu come to them and ask for the transfer, the Nerazzurri will try to meet Galatasaray in the middle. Therefore, the Gazzetta report, Inter's asking price for Calhanoglu would be around €30 million. Meanwhile, Inter are not waiting around for the conclusion to this will-he-stay-or-will-he-go saga. They are preparing for life without Calhanoglu in case he does indeed head for the exit door to join Galatasaray. According to the Gazzetta, two names sit at the top of Inter's targets to replace the Turk. One would be that of Atalanta midfielder Ederson. The Brazilian would cost a fee of around €50 million. Advertisement Then, reports the Gazzetta, in-demand Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller is also high on Inter's list of targets. On the other hand, the Gazzetta anticipate, there are a couple players who would be less likely to join the Nerazzurri despite persistent links. Even with his release clause, Nicolo Rovella would be a tough player to move for. This owes to the, putting it euphemistically, prickly relationship between Inter and Lazio President Claudio Lotito. Similarly, the rapport between Inter and Sporting CP is not a positive one following Joao Mario's controversial transfer to Benfica in 2021. Therefore, it would be tricky for Inter to try and negotiate for Morten Hjulmand.

Report – Inter Milan Plot Audacious Swoop For Stuttgart Midfielder Heavily Linked With Real Madrid
Report – Inter Milan Plot Audacious Swoop For Stuttgart Midfielder Heavily Linked With Real Madrid Sought-after Stuttgart star Angelo Stiller has emerged as the latest candidate to replace Hakan Calhanoglu at Inter Milan. Per Sportitalia via FCInterNews, the 24-year-old ranks highly on Inter's list of targets for life after Calhanoglu. Advertisement Hakan Calhanoglu is increasingly likely to leave San Siro after four years. Indeed, talks of his imminent transfer to Galatasaray are gaining momentum. Meanwhile, Cristian Chivu's men are scouring the market for replacements. Numerous names have popped up on the club's radar, with Angelo Stiller becoming the latest high-profile target. Inter Milan Consider Audacious Move for Stuttgart Midfielder Angelo Stiller DORTMUND, GERMANY – MARCH 23: Angelo Stiller of Germany looks on prior to the UEFA Nations League Quarterfinal Leg Two match between Germany and Italy at Football Stadium Dortmund on March 23, 2025 in Dortmund, Germany. (Photo by) Heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid, Stiller won't come cheap. Quite the opposite, his arrival would likely drain Inter's bank accounts. However, the Italian giants could use Aleksandar Stankovic as a bargaining chip to drive the price down. Advertisement Indeed, Stuttgart are one of several European clubs keen to recruit the 19-year-old. In addition to the Bundesliga powerhouse, Club Brugge are serious about signing the Serbian starlet. Stankovic could help Inter unlock the deal for Stiller, but it would still require a substantial financial sacrifice to land the German.

Report: Bundesliga star ‘will never sign' for Real Madrid
According to an update shared by journalist Joaquin Maroto, it has come to light that Angelo Stiller is never going to sign for Real Madrid. Despite weeks of speculation linking the 24-year-old Stuttgart midfielder with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu, Maroto states definitively that the deal 'will never happen.' Advertisement This is a significant twist in what initially appeared to be a promising development for Los Blancos. With Toni Kroos retired and Luka Modric leaving, Real Madrid have been actively looking for a deep-lying midfield orchestrator, someone capable of dictating the tempo and initiating attacks from the back. Stiller's name repeatedly surfaced as a viable candidate to fill that role. Earlier reports indicated that Stiller was open to the move, and his entourage viewed the prospect of playing for Real Madrid favourably. Though Madrid never submitted a formal offer, optimism existed within the player's camp. Contractual roadblocks Real Madrid will not sign Angelo Stiller. (Photo by) Despite mutual interest, it is said that Real Madrid faced problems due to a complex contractual situation. While Stiller does have a €36 million release clause, it only becomes active in 2026. Advertisement Until then, Stuttgart retain firm control over his future. In fact, the German club can eliminate that clause altogether by paying the player a €2 million bonus before the clause activates.. At present, Stuttgart are not interested in selling Stiller for anything less than €50 million, an amount that Real Madrid are unwilling to pay for a player they do not consider a guaranteed starter. Given that, the club has now pulled the plug on any potential move for the German midfielder. With the Stiller option now closed, Real Madrid are redirecting their attention toward Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi. Advertisement The Spanish international is a better tactical fit for Alonso's system and is admired for his intelligence, positioning, and ability to shield the backline while distributing the ball efficiently. However, Zubimendi's €60 million release clause and strong interest from Arsenal complicate matters.

Real Madrid Reaches Agreement With Transfer Target
Real Madrid has reached an agreement in principle with a Bundesliga star according to transfer ... More market expert Nicolo Schira, who cited anonymous sources on X, formerly known as Twitter. Real Madrid has reached an agreement in principle with a Bundesliga star according to transfer market expert Nicolo Schira, who cited anonymous sources on X, formerly known as Twitter. It was this summer that Madrid was meant to land Florian Wirtz from the German top flight, and the now former employers of new head coach Xabi Alonso in Bayer Leverkusen. As things stand, though, it appears as though wonderkid Wirtz will instead head to a Liverpool outfit likely to lose Trent Alexander-Arnold to Los Blancos, though Madrid is closing in on another top talent from the German top flight according to Schira. 'Agreement in principle between Real Madrid and Angelo Stiller for a contract until 2030,' the Italian tweeted on X. 'Real Madrid are now working to reach a deal with Stuttgart. Talks in progress,' Schira added. Stiller is of course Stuttgart's Angelo Stiller, who Alonso knows well from his time in Germany and is represented by the same agency as retired Madrid legend Toni Kroos - Sports360 GmbH. The Bernabeu has seen him up close too, with the 24-year-old impressive in a 3-1 Champions League defeat for his team there where he made 93 interceptions, 71 passes, four recoveries and also created a scoring chance. More defensive than Wirtz, Stiller could provide a link between the back line and more attacking center-of-the-park technicians such as Jude Bellingham, while putting in the hard yards that Madrid will need to do to catch up to rival FC Barcelona and disrupt newfound domestic dominance. With Stiller a product of Bayern Munich's academy, Alonso knows what he can give Madrid and believes that he will fit into his system easily according to AS. The Spanish newspaper adds that while Stiller isn't one of President Florentino Perez's primary targets in the summer window, Madrid is 'keeping an eye on" a budding talent which Transfermarkt currently values at $42.8 million (€38 million). With the 2024/2025 season not even wrapped up a week ago, Real Madrid continues to be linked with new signings. Already landing Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth, there have been further reports regarding advanced talks or agreements with the likes of Nico Paz and Alvaro Carreras.
