Bhalki college student felicitated for clearing CA Foundation exam
The Department of Commerce at SVE Society's Shri Channabasveshwar College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Bhalki, Bidar district, organised a felicitation ceremony on Monday to honour Arati Arjunrao Irade for successfully clearing the CA Foundation Examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in May 2025. The results were declared on July 6. With her success, the college now counts seven students who have cleared this prestigious examination, underscoring its growing strength in professional education. Administrator of SVE Society Ankush Dhole was the chief guest and HR Manager of the society Gurunath Kudte was the guest of honour at the felicitation event. Principal of the college Santoshkumar S. Teerthe, who presided over the event, promised continued institutional support for academic excellence. CA Foundation Course Coordinator Sandeep Raj outlined the structured teaching strategy, highlighting regular unit tests, intensive coaching and mock exams as key components that contributed to the student's success. Ms. Irade expressed gratitude to her teachers and parents for their constant support and motivation during her preparation. In a communication made to the college authorities, SVE Society's president and Minister for Forest, Ecology and Environment Eshwar B. Khandre and society secretary and Lok Sabha member from Bidar Sagar Eshwar Khandre have praised the student's dedication and congratulated the Commerce Department for its committed academic mentorship. The programme was attended by Head of the Commerce Department Shivakumar J. Kamble, faculty member Vanishree and Bheemana Biradar, other teaching and non-teaching staff, students and parents.

International CA Day celebrated at Channabasveshwar Degree College
Shri Channabasveshwar Degree College, Bhalki, Bidar district, celebrated 'International Chartered Accountants Day' on Tuesday. The occasion also marked the formal inauguration of the fourth batch of the CA Foundation Course. The event was graced by Ankush Dhole, administrator of the SVE Society. In his address, he encouraged students to seize opportunities and commit themselves sincerely to the CA journey, stressing the importance of vision and dedication in achieving success. Gurunath Kudte, HR manager of the Society and guest of honour, motivated students to embrace the CA path with perseverance and consistent efforts. The programme was presided over by principal Santoshkumar S. Teerthe, who reassured students that the college and the SVE Society were fully committed to supporting them. A detailed report on the progress of the previous three CA Foundation batches was presented by Sandeep Raj, CA coordinator. He highlighted the academic performance, pass percentages, and successful placements of past students. A quiz was held on the occasion. The event saw the participation of nearly 150 students.
