Juniper Green Energy said on Wednesday its arm Juniper Green Cosmic has signed a power purchase agreement with state-owned NHPC for the development of a 250 megawatt Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy project . Juniper Green Energy signs PPA with NHPC for 250 MW hybrid renewable project to supply Haryana

New Delhi: Juniper Green Energy Limited, through its subsidiary Juniper Green Cosmic Private Limited, has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NHPC for a 250 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project. The agreement was signed on June 28, 2025. As per the agreement, the renewable energy project will comprise a mix of solar, wind, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and will supply power to the Haryana Power Purchase Centre (HPPC) on behalf of the state's distribution companies—Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited and Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited. The project is scheduled to begin power supply from June 2027. "We are proud to partner with NHPC again on this FDRE project," said Ankush Malik, Chief Executive Officer, Juniper Green Energy. "This PPA demonstrates our capability to undertake and deliver complex renewable projects that allows us to align with the country's goal for sustainable and reliable power." Juniper Green Energy on Friday announced that it has fully commissioned the 217-MWp solar project in Chapalgaon, Maharashtra with the addition of 71 MWp capacity at the plant. This execution brings the entire project online nearly 18 months ahead of its schedule, a company statement said. Juniper Green Energy supplies power to Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited through its subsidiary Juniper Green Ray Two Private Limited. The commissioning of 71 MWp capacity marks the completion of the entire 217 MWp solar PV project, it stated. Juniper Green Energy said it has commissioned the project in two phases - 145.99 MWp on 22 May 2025, followed by 71 MWp on 23 June 2025 - achieving full capacity within just four months of signing the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). New Delhi: Juniper Green Energy Limited has fully commissioned its 217 megawatt peak (MWp) solar power project at Chapalgaon in Maharashtra, supplying electricity to the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). According to a company statement, the project was developed in two phases — 145.99 MWp was commissioned on May 22, 2025, followed by 71 MWp on June 23, 2025 — bringing the entire capacity online within four months of signing the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). The solar project was implemented through Juniper Green Ray Two Private Limited, a subsidiary of Juniper Green Energy. The project achieved commissioning nearly 18 months ahead of its scheduled date. 'With the Chapalgaon project now fully operational, Juniper Green Energy once again proves its track record of commissioning projects ahead of schedule and highlights our ability to meaningfully contribute to India's energy demands for clean energy solutions ,' said Ankush Malik, Chief Executive Officer, Juniper Green Energy. The project supplies power to MSEDCL under a long-term PPA. Earlier, Juniper Green Energy filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for an initial public offering (IPO) of up to ₹3,000 crore. The IPO includes a fresh issue of equity shares and an offer for sale.

Juniper Green Energy on Wednesday announced the commissioning of the 59 MWp solar component of its 75 MW hybrid power project in Wardha, Maharashtra. The plant, commissioned on June 6, 2025, was completed 17 months ahead of schedule, a company statement said. The Juniper Green Power Five Project has a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) capacity of 75 MW, comprising a contracted 75 MW of solar and an additional 26.4 MW of installed wind capacity, according to the statement. The PPA was signed on November 18, 2024, with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), and the Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) is set for November 17, 2026, it added. The commissioning of this solar component marks a step towards the full operationalisation of the hybrid project. "The early commissioning of our Karanja Hybrid Project, following the successful delivery of the Chapalgaon plant, highlights our strong execution capabilities and commitment to timely project delivery", said Ankush Malik, CEO, Juniper Green Energy.
