Woman shares hilarious video of a 'Turkish hairlines' flight full of post-op men

A plane passenger returning from a trip to Turkey captured the hilarious moment she spotted rows of male flyers onboard with prickly scalps, fresh from a hair transplant procedure. Anna Malygon, a content creator from Kharkiv, Ukraine, uploaded a video to her Instagram page, @maligoshik, after she boarded a Turkish Airlines flight on 6 May. She was left amused as she noticed a number of men taking their seats in rows ahead of her - with each sporting sore, shaved scalps peppered with giveaway 'hair follicle' incisions. Turkey has become a popular destination for hair transplants, representing nearly 60 per cent of the global hair transplant tourism market thanks to its affordable, high-quality procedures. The Turkish Healthcare Travel Council reports over 1 million people travel to Turkey annually for hair restoration treatments, and according to Dr. Serkan Aygin Clinic, the country is expected to receive 1.1 hair transplant patients in 2025. In Malygon's video, she joked she was flying with 'Turkish Hairlines' - a term that arose due to the high volume of hair transplant tourists travelling to the country, resulting in the common sight of post-operative headbands on flights. However, the content creator's clip hasn't gone down well with viewers who accused her of 'shaming' the men, while others defended the woman's 'funny' observation. One person wrote, 'Bodyshaming is OK now?' while another said: 'So happy for these men. It's a courageous thing to do because of people who judge and shame them.' She was left amused as she noticed a number of men taking their seats in rows ahead of her - with each sporting sore, shaved scalps peppered with giveaway 'hair follicle' incisions A third commented: 'As a mom to two, now grown men, this is so offside. Women underestimate how devastating hair loss feels to men.' Another viewer added: 'So women can get fake everything but men can't fix a hairline? Got it!' However, one viewer hit back: 'Oh come on, I used to see this all the time when flying to Istanbul and it's hilarious. Can't we have a laugh about this? Another wrote: 'She's just making a funny observation. I don't sense any shaming.' The content creator's clip hasn't gone down well with viewers who accused her of 'shaming' the men, while others defended the woman's 'funny' observation It come after a set of 40 year-old triplets were so desperate to retain their identical looks they underwent matching hair transplants at the same time. In what is believed to be a world first, brothers Julian, Eliot and Ryan Gregory, from Wales, embarked on the operation in a bid to achieve 'similar' hairlines. While all began balding in their 30s, the rate of hair loss differed, making them appear 'less identical'. The plan to restore the triplets' hair was orchestrated by brother Julian, a PR consultant from Pembrokeshire, after a trip to Thailand left him dissatisfied and insecure about his looks.

Tesla Optimus faces scrutiny Tesla Optimus is a humanoid robot developed by Tesla, Inc., first announced by Elon Musk during the company's AI Day in 2021. Designed to handle tasks that are dangerous, repetitive, or boring for humans, Optimus is part of Tesla's broader vision to integrate artificial intelligence and robotics into everyday life. Elon Musk recently said that Optimus could be available for limited tasks in Tesla factories within the next year or two.
