GMA Gala 2025 preparations now in full swing
As the countdown begins, the GMA Gala 2025 is already deep into preparations, promising an unforgettable event that will celebrate GMA Network's 75th anniversary. According to Nelson Canlas' report in '24 Oras' Friday, among the event's organizers are GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes and Sparkle GMA Artist Center First Vice President Joy Marcelo. 'Ako, I'm excited personally to see how our stars will level up what they're wearing, their styling. So I'm very excited to see that. And every Gala, I see them just mingling, enjoying each other's company, and sana ito talagang maging opportunity again for them to just be themselves and enjoy. Enjoy friendship, enjoy the feeling of family,' Gozon-Valdes said. The event will be styled by Gideon Hermosa. 'Since we are celebrating, I mean, GMA is celebrating their 75th anniversary this year, yes, diamond anniversary, so it's going to be bigger, and I would say more unique and siyempre mas bongga,' he said. Guests will be served a three-course meal made with imported ingredients. 'It's all about glamour, it's all about quality, it's all about GMA,' Marriott Hotel Manila Executive Chef Meik Brammer said. Stars are already finalizing their looks for the momentous occasion, each bringing a unique vision to their attire. 'Yes, may gown na po. May theme ulit siya. And 'yun lang po. May theme kasi every time I do a gala, may kwento 'yung ginagawa ko, may kwento 'yung gown,' Kylie Padilla said. 'Meron na akong vision na sana. Maganda kasi 'yung gusto kong gown,' Kazel Kinouchi said. Jak Roberto says he wants to go simple. 'Suit and tie lang naman eh. Ang mahalaga lang sa amin mag-sharpen 'yung dating namin, maging dapper talaga pag dating sa Gala,' he said. Michael Sager said that he is excited to reunite with his fellow "PBB" housemates at the event. 'We'll go classic again, but lagyan natin ng konting twist para special,' he said. 'Gusto ko, class. May iba din tayong atake 'ba gano'n. Pakitaan ko sila na puwede tayong mag-high fashion,' Shuvee Etrata said. The GMA Gala is returning for its fourth year, and it will be held on August 2. The event is a star-studded gathering of Kapuso stars and other showbiz personalities. They walk down the red carpet in fashionable outfits and enjoy an evening of camaraderie and celebration. GMA Pictures, Warner Bros. Philippines sign distribution deal for 'P77'
GMA Pictures has formally inked its partnership with Warner Bros. Philippines for the distribution of the upcoming horror film "P77." The ceremonial contract signing, held on Monday morning at GMA Network in Quezon City, was attended by GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, GMA Senior Vice President for Public Affairs and GMA Pictures Executive Vice President Nessa Valdellon, Warner Bros. Philippines distribution director Rico Gonzales, "P77" lead actress Barbie Forteza, and "P77" director Derick Cabrido In her short message after the contract signing, Gozon-Valdes expressed her pride in the partnership of GMA Pictures and Warner Bros. Philippines. "I believe that together we can ensure the success of this film and bring this movie to a wider audience," she said. "This is actually our seventh local movie to be distributed by Warner Bros. Philippines, so I'm hoping GMA-7, 'P77' is going to be the lucky 7," he said. For the Kapuso Primetime Princess, 'P77' is not just another film to her name but a personal career milestone. 'It's something na i-ba-brag ko talaga, hindi ko itatago. May Warner Bros. film ako! Gano'n!' Barbie told GMA News Online. "P77," which stands for Penthouse 77, will also star Euwenn Mikaell, Gina Pareño, and Jackie Lou Blanco. The film is directed by Derick Cabrido, the filmmaker behind the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 entry "Mallari," and produced by GMA Pictures and Clever Minds Inc. It was written by Enrico Santos, and the story by Anj Atienza and Xtian Julao. "P77" is coming to cinemas on July 30. —CDC, GMA Integrated News
