Savannah Police Department investigate man shot in vehicle
The Savannah Police Department is investigating a Monday morning shooting that left one man wounded.
The victim, who was found by police wounded in his vehicle at around 6:20 a.m., told officers he had been shot by a man in another vehicle that pulled up to him.
ShotSpotter, a gunshot detection system, identified the gunfire and alerted the police to the intersection of Jay St. and Lehwald St.
The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
No arrests have been made at this time.
