Early morning shooting leaves one dead, three injured in KCMO
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Officers with the Kansas City Police Department were called to 24th Street and Lister Avenue just after 2:00 a.m. Saturday morning, June 28, on reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found one man in a parking lot who had been shot. Officers requested paramedics and began first aid on the victim. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Later, Saturday afternoon, KCPD identified the victim as 40-year-old Antonio Jackson.
At the scene, officers were notified of three additional victims who had also been shot at the location.
One victim was taken to the hospital by private vehicle, a second victim was located at a residence near 39th and Chelsea and was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and the third victim was found at 19th and Oak and was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
KCPD says those victims are continuing recovery with what is thought to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives are at the scene looking for any witnesses who can provide any information about what led to the shooting of the four victims.
