Arizona Cardinals updated mock draft: Training camp edition
The Arizona Cardinals are one of those teams that look better on paper than they ever seem to be on Sundays. Led by quarterback Kyler Murray, the offense made strides in 2024 in yards and points. The Cardinals are set to kick off training camp on July 22 and hope they have the pieces in place to compete in a crowded NFC. We have updated our three-round Cardinals mock draft with an eye on adding another playmaker for Murray as well as strengthening the defensive secondary and the offensive line. First round - WR Antonio Williams - Clemson We would love to see Marvin Harrison Jr. and Antonio Williams on the field together with Kyler Murray throwing them the football. Second round - CB Zeke Berry - Michigan Berry is one of those multi-taskers at cornerback who can work inside or outside and give the Arizona secondary a ton of scheme versatility. Third round - OT Spencer Fano - Utah The Cardinals have a pair of quality offensive tackles but we project Fano as more of an inside/outside player who is an immediate starter at guard. Clemson star wide receiver named a Top 15 offensive underclassman for the 2026 NFL draft
Antonio Williams is already drawing plenty of NFL buzz as he heads into what could be his final season in Clemson's wide receiver room. The Athletic's Nick Baumgardner recently spotlighted Williams as one of the top offensive underclassmen to watch for the 2026 NFL Draft. Baumgardner placed Williams 13th overall among draft-eligible underclassmen on offense, noting just how valuable he's been for Cade Klubnik and Clemson's passing attack. Advertisement 'A 5-11, 190-pound redshirt junior, Williams plays bigger than he looks with great burst and quick feet off the snap,' Baumgardner said. 'He is very hard to deal with in a tight space and does a good job tracking and finishing through contact and physicality. He forced 14 missed tackles last season, carving up would-be tacklers with vision and explosive balance. 'He needs to eliminate his drops, and his size could limit his role in the NFL, but Williams has been great for Clemson star QB Cade Klubnik.' The Tigers' top receiver target checked in as the fourth-ranked wideout on the list. Beyond Williams, Clemson's upcoming slate will bring more underclassman talent into focus — Baumgardner ranked Utah offensive tackle Spencer Fano at No. 1, with South Carolina's LaNorris Sellers (QB) landing at No. 5 and Boston College lineman Jude Bowry coming in at No. 15. Advertisement With Williams healthy and poised for a big year, Klubnik could have one of the ACC's toughest covers at his disposal — and NFL scouts will be watching closely. CBS Sports Crowns Clemson the Nation's Most "High-Powered" Offense for 2025
CBS Sports Crowns Clemson the Nation's Most "High-Powered" Offense for 2025 originally appeared on Athlon Sports. CLEMSON, SC – Hold onto your hats, college football fans, because CBS Sports has just delivered the ultimate preseason hype, declaring Clemson football the No. 1 "high-powered" offense in the nation, "guaranteed to produce fireworks" in 2025! With a roster brimming with returning talent and a Heisman contender at the helm, it's hard to argue with the soaring expectations. Advertisement Clemson is bringing back virtually every major piece from last year's ACC title-winning squad that punched its ticket to the College Football Playoff. The undeniable centerpiece of this offensive juggernaut is quarterback Cade Klubnik. According to CBS, Klubnik has a "realistic shot at setting the league's single-season touchdown record" in his third campaign under offensive coordinator Garrett Riley. Klubnik's electrifying 2024 season saw him account for 43 total touchdowns (36 passing, 7 rushing), proving his dual-threat capabilities. Clemson Tigers quarterback Cade Klubnik (2) and wide receiver Antonio Williams (0).Ken Ruinard-Imagn Images That kind of production has Klubnik firmly entrenched in the early Heisman Trophy conversation – a trophy that has famously eluded Death Valley. If Klubnik can deliver on this promise, he could etch his name in program history. His ascent isn't just about college accolades either; he's already appearing in first-round projections for the 2026 NFL Draft alongside star wideout Antonio Williams. Speaking of wideouts, CBS didn't hold back, labeling Clemson's pass-catching group as arguably the "best in the nation." They specifically highlighted a "better wideout trio than Antonio Williams, Bryant Wesco Jr., and T.J. Moore." The Tigers even bolstered this "expansive wideout room" with transfer Tristan Smith from Southeast Missouri State, ensuring deep-ball threats and playmaking ability are abundant. Advertisement While the departure of bruising running back Phil Mafah (who rumbled for over 1,100 yards and eight scores in 2024) leaves a hole, the sheer offensive firepower surrounding Klubnik and his elite receiving corps has Clemson fans dreaming bigger than ever. With Garrett Riley orchestrating the plays, a Heisman hopeful under center, and future NFL talent lighting up the skill positions, Clemson looks poised to explode onto scoreboards across the country. Get ready for a season of offensive fireworks as the Tigers launch another serious run at a national championship! Mock draft points to possible DeAndre Hopkins replacement for the Ravens
Recent mock finds DeAndre Hopkins' replacement at a school that bred both wide receivers. This has to be the year. Lamar Jackson did that interview in the cold tub with Kevin Hart. They talked about a lot, but that's the most important takeaway. This is the year. The Baltimore Ravens have squandered a couple of opportunities, especially here recently. We are in luck. This team boasts a strong defense and an offense featuring star players. They have the potential to be formidable on both sides of the ball. However, winning just once is not their only goal; the Ravens are aiming to secure two or three Lombardi Trophies. They are counting on youthful talent and newly acquired veterans for the upcoming campaign. One such player is wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, although he is signed for only one season. However, Pro Football Network believes they have found his potential replacement. PFN mocks Antonio Williams to the Ravens in an early 2026 mock draft Welp! It appears PFN believes the Ravens are coming short again. Their recent 2026 NFL mock draft has Baltimore picking 28th. In other words, they would have had to lose in the AFC's Divisional Round to land in that position. Regardless, it is what it is. Another intriguing detail in their recent commentary is the mock draft selection of a wide receiver from the Clemson Tigers, similar to DeAndre Hopkins, who also started his career there. Antonio Williams is the standout player. He stands at five feet eleven inches tall and weighs 195 pounds. In 2024, he earned First-Team All-ACC honors. It's an interesting question regarding his position; the team already has Zay Flowers playing in the slot and Rashod Bateman on the outside. Williams seems to be another slot receiver, but could he potentially play outside? Devontez Walker and Tylan Wallace are also part of the conversation, but will they still be with the team next season? Let's see what PFN has to say about their selection and some of the madness before we give a listen to a recent breakdown of the Clemson wide receivers. "When you have a roster as loaded as the Baltimore Ravens', you can have the luxury of adding depth to your already strong receiver room. Antonio Williams is a dynamic playmaker whose play style would fit nicely in Baltimore's receiving unit." In three solid seasons at Clemson, Williams has been primarily available. His 2023 campaign was limited to only five games because of injury, but last season was his best. He notched 75 receptions, 904 yards receiving, and 11 touchdowns in 14 games. Keep an eye on him as we inch towards another college football season. The process of building a draft board has already begun.

Ravens Gain Offensive Help in Way-Too-Early 2026 3-Round NFL Mock Draft
Ravens Gain Offensive Help in Way-Too-Early 2026 3-Round NFL Mock Draft originally appeared on Athlon Sports. As we patiently wait for the Baltimore Ravens to kick off training camp on July 23, we can wildly and irresponsibly speculate about what teams might do next season in the draft. Advertisement Mock drafts are always fun, but they're especially entertaining when it's almost a full calendar year before the selection show, and this summer is no different. Pro Football Network showcased its thoughts on how things could go next year through the first three rounds, and the Ravens must've had another good season because they're picking at No. 28 in the first round. There, they're able to add some depth to the wideout room before doing the same in the running back room in Round 2. Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports via Imagn Images The Ravens have the luxury of adding depth at key positions because of the way general manager Eric DeCosta has been able to draft recently. While we still have the full 2025 campaign to play, Baltimore's wideout room could change between now and then, and Williams could have a chance to compete for a starting job next offseason. Derrick Henry is under contract through 2027, but he'll be 33 years old when the deal ends. While he shows no signs of slowing down, his contract might not allow him to play that long with a $16 million cap hit in 2027. Advertisement Drafting a young running back would be a smart move for DeCosta and the Ravens.
