Despite a slight dip on Monday, the film has managed to hold its ground, thanks to the buzz around Pitt's comeback and the adrenaline-pumping action sequences that have left fans revving for more. As per early estimates by Sacnilk, the film made around Rs 4.18 crore on Tuesday. This takes its total collection in five days to about Rs 28.93 crore. Released on June 27, the film had a great start, earning Rs 21.4 crore over its opening weekend, even with competition from Indian films like Maa and Kannappa. Although collections dropped to Rs 3.35 crore on Monday, Tuesday saw a better response. On Tuesday, July 1, the film saw a good response with 28.25 per cent occupancy for English shows across India. The highest number of viewers showed up for the night screenings. The film had a steady turnout across the day on Tuesday. Morning shows saw 11.32 per cent occupancy, which picked up in the afternoon with 26.10 per cent, and continued to rise in the evening with 32.88 per cent. The highest audience response came during the night shows, which recorded 42.68 per cent occupancy. Major cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, and Hyderabad had the biggest crowds. Globally, F1: The Movie had a smashing opening weekend, raking in $140 million worldwide. Out of that, $55.6 million came from the US alone — with a strong $25 million earned just on Day 1, as per data from The Numbers. Backed by producer Jerry Bruckheimer and F1 legend Lewis Hamilton, F1 tells the story of Sonny Hayes, a retired Formula One driver played by Brad Pitt, who returns to the track. He partners with young racer Joshua Pearce, played by Damson Idris, as they try to turn around the struggling ApxGP team's performance.
