Minister of Information leads a series of meetings
Minister of Information Paul Morcos welcomed several visiting delegations, including a team from the Arab Tourism Media Union led by Ayman Al-Ali, Vice President for Asia.
The delegation informed Morcos of the decision to relocate the Union's headquarters to Beirut, a move the minister welcomed, pledging support for completing the necessary procedures.
Al-Ali noted plans to hold a regional media forum in Lebanon to highlight its tourism role.
Morcos also met with organizers of the BIAF Festival, who invited him to its 12th edition on August 2–3 in Nejmeh Square. This year's edition is dedicated to poet Said Akl.
Later, the minister held talks with the head of the new Digital Marketing Syndicate, Patrick Abou Chacra, and former minister Abdallah Farhat. They discussed legal and structural reforms to advance Lebanon's digital media landscape. Dr. Majid Matar also presented Morcos with a strategic vision to strengthen Lebanese media.
