Traffic movement to be restricted for Golconda Bonalu celebrations

In view of Jagadamba Mahankali Golconda Bonalu celebrations expected to draw large crowds of devotees from across the city and surrounding districts, the Hyderabad Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory. The pujas are scheduled to take place on nine dates between June 26 and July 24, 2025, with events running from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. each day. The affected stretches include Ramdevguda via Makkai Darwaza, Langar Houz via Fateh Darwaza, and Shaikpet Nala and Seven Tombs via Banjara Darwaza. Devotees approaching from Ramdevguda have been directed to park their vehicles at Ashoor Khana to Army Sentry Post for two-wheelers and at Artillery Centre or Ashoor Khana for four-wheelers. Those arriving via Langar Houz are requested to use designated parking spaces at MCH Park, Golconda Bus Stop, Area Hospital, and Alhira School. Devotees coming through the Banjara Darwaza route may park at Hockey Ground, Owaisi Ground, Golf Club Road bylane, and Deccan Park near Seven Tombs. All devotees have been urged to park only at the designated sites and proceed on foot to the fort.
