Business Wire India Francesco Arezzo, member of the Rotary Club of Ragusa, Italy, has officially begun his term as President of Rotary International for 2025–26. Subsequently, from India, K.P. Nagesh, Rotary Club of Bangalore Highgrounds, Karnataka, and M. Muruganandam, Rotary Club of Bhel City Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu, have been appointed as RI Directors for a two-year term (2025-27). Arezzo, a Rotary member for more than 30 years, will be the third Italian and the first from southern Italy to lead the global membership organization. During his term, Arezzo will focus on advancing Rotary's mission of unity and inclusion under the banner of 'Unite for Good', recognizing its profound relevance in today's world. 'Rotary's greatest strength lies in its ability to unite people of all cultures and generations through a shared commitment to doing good,' said Arezzo. 'As we look ahead, I am committed to building on this legacy – working together to advance peace, understanding, and opportunity around the world.' As head of Rotary's global network of 46,000 clubs, Arezzo will also oversee Rotary's top goal of eradicating polio. Alongside its Global Polio Eradication Initiative partners, Rotary has achieved a 99.9% reduction in polio cases, and contributed more than US$2.6 billion and countless volunteer hours to protect nearly 3 billion children from this paralyzing disease. Flt. Lt. K.P. Nagesh is a decorated Indian Air Force veteran, successful entrepreneur, and social changemaker. He joined Rotary as a member of his club in 1995. A trailblazing Rotarian and past District Governor, he is known for record-breaking membership growth and impactful service projects. In 2015–16, while serving as a district Governor, he led transformative initiatives that resulted in the addition of over 2,000 new members and the chartering of 52 new clubs, with a notable rise in women's participation. 'India is one of the strongest pillars of Rotary's global vision. From $6 million in fundraising a decade ago to $33 million in 2024 and growing, India is the second-largest global contributor. Our membership in India has more than doubled over the last decade, and we are on track to lead the world in numbers. Rotary's first Peace Center coming up at Symbiosis Pune is a powerful milestone—proof that India doesn't just contribute to global peace, we now host and shape it. Our focus for India is clear: scale our service projects, build trust with CSR partners, and transform underserved communities through health, education, water, environment, livelihoods, and peace. This is India's Rotary moment—and we are ready to lead with purpose, transparency, and trust,' said, K.P Nagesh, Rotary International Director (India), 2025–27 M Murganandam's Rotary journey began at just 16, when he joined Rotaract and participated in polio immunization drives in remote communities. A first-generation entrepreneur, educator, and social leader from Tamil Nadu, he has championed youth empowerment, skill development, and inclusive service across India. He went on to become one of the youngest district governors in 2016-17, leading record-setting initiatives recognized by Guinness World Records. His leadership has been marked by a strong focus on youth empowerment, literacy, health care, and women's safety. 'From leading one of the world's greatest public health victories—bringing polio to the brink of eradication—to now confronting climate challenges, education gaps, and rising inequity, our commitment remains the same: to serve, to uplift, and to unite. Unite for Good is not just a theme—it's a timely reminder that humanity is strongest when we act together. My vision is to make Rotary irresistible to the next generation by saying YES to youth leadership, YES to women at the forefront, and YES to safe, inclusive spaces for service. With India's unmatched energy and our 1:2:3 strategy for membership growth, we're poised to become Rotary's global heartbeat—bolder, kinder, and built to last,' said M. Muruganandam. Rotary members—including those in nearly 4600 clubs in India, as well as throughout the world–develop and implement sustainable, community-driven projects that fight disease, promote peace, provide clean water, support education, save mothers and children, grow local economies, and protect the environment. More than US$5.5 billion has been awarded through The Rotary Foundation – Rotary's charitable arm that helps clubs work together to perform meaningful, impactful service—to support these initiatives over the last 100 years. Tasha Ghouri looks radiant in an array of sexy snaps from trip to Tuscany after debuting new romance with boyfriend Cam Whitnall
Tasha Ghouri showed off her incredible figure in an array of sexy snaps as she jetted off to Tuscany. The former Love Island star, 26, flew out to Arezzo, Italy, this week just days after debuting her new romance at Fearne Cotton 's Happy Place festival in London. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday evening, Tasha looked radiant as she stepped out the night at a grand Tuscan villa at Il Borro resort. Tasha donned a stunning white chiffon gown featuring an off-the-shoulder design paired with spaghetti straps. The dress also featured a bandeau-style bralet with a cut-out at the torso displaying her toned abdomen, as well as a draping full-length skirt. She accessorised for the evening with huge white rose earrings, a white pearl clutch bag and a cuff bracelet. 'Arezzo evenings xxx,' she captioned the snaps, where she was seen enjoying champagne by the pool. It came after Tasha packed on the PDA with her new CBBC presenter and zoo owner boyfriend Cam Whitnall this weekend - just a few days after a bitter row with her ex Andrew Le Page. Tasha put her arms around Cam and held hands with him as they stepped out together at Fearne Cotton 's Happy Place festival at Gunnersbury Park in London over the weekend. YouTuber Cam Whitnall, 29, stars in CBBC series One Zoo Three and BBC show OZT Goes Wild alongside his brothers Ty and Aaron. Cam, whose family run Hertfordshire Zoo, is the managing director of a non-profit charity, The Big Cat Sanctuary, which rescues wild cats and protects species at risk of extinction. On the joint outing Tasha - who has been dating Cam since May - looked stylish in a skimpy white dress and tassel boots. It comes after Tasha's ex Andrew launched into an explosive rant about her being on a dating app during their relationship. Andrew claimed on Thursday night that Tasha was using the celebrity dating app Raya while still in a relationship with him and insisted he wanted to speak out after she had appeared on 'one too many podcasts' to speak about him. Soon after they released a shock joint statement. In the statement shared with MailOnline, the former couple who met on Love Island in 2022, came together to address 'hurtful comments' in a move that took place after Andrew accused Tasha of not being able to 'keep his name out of her mouth'. The exes quickly put Andrew's rant aside and come together to address the 'noise' around their relationship as Tasha admitted to 'making mistakes' during their romance. Both parties expressed their wish to 'move on' from the relationship after suffering 'judgement and cruelty' from online trolls. Sharing her side of events, Tasha said: 'I just want to address recent hurtful comments about me and & Andrew. We've always been open about who we are and what we went through, the hate and harsh words have been unfair and overwhelming for both of us. 'No one deserves to be torn down, especially when they're already trying to heal. We've both made mistakes, we've both learned, and we've both grown. But the judgement and cruelty we are facing from people online has been hard. 'Please remember that behind every nasty post, every comment, every story, there are real people with real emotions. Always be kind.' While Andrew added: 'Tasha and I want to address the noise around our breakup, as there's been hate going around that neither of us ever wanted. 'Things were said on both sides, but at the end of the day, no relationship is perfect, but ours still had some incredible moments I'll always be grateful for. 'I truly just want us both to move on and be happy. Wishing Tasha nothing but the best, and I'll always be proud of her.' The statements came shortly after he hit back at the star after she claimed in a new interview he 'wasn't supporting her,' before their shock split. The couple, who met on Love Island in 2022, split in January, with Tasha admitting she now regrets her treatment of him after they 'grew apart' during her stint on Strictly Come Dancing. Tasha, who has been deaf since birth and had a cochlear implant fitted at the age of five, appeared on the 2024 series of Strictly with pro partner Aljaž Škorjanec. In an interview for Rylan Clark 's How To Be In Love, Tasha claimed their relationship was already starting to fray prior to her Strictly debut, with Andrew offering 'no support' as she progressed to the show's latter stages. But Andrew furiously hit back in a now-deleted post on Snapchat, where he accused Tasha of 'talking s**t about him,' before stating that Tasha had begun using the celebrity dating app Raya before their relationship was over.
