This highly anticipated K-drama is set to release the first two episodes on June 23 and June 24 at 9:50 p.m. KST on Viki and Kocowa. South Korean audiences can also watch the show on television channel KBS2. Directed by Yoo Kwan Mo, the drama My Girlfriend Is The Man stars ASTRO's Sanha, Oh My Girl's Arin, former LOONA member Chuu, and Yoo Jung Hoo in the lead roles. In the series, Sanha plays Park Yoon Jae, a university student majoring in astronomy. He meets Kim Ju Eun (played by Arin) on a blind date, where the two instantly connect and begin dating. Their relationship blossoms, until a shocking twist changes everything: his girlfriend mysteriously transforms into a man. My Girlfriend Is The Man follows the couple as they navigate their bizarre new reality and search for a way to restore Ji Eun to her original female form. As they deal with the emotional and social challenges of this transformation, things get even more complicated when Min Ju (played by Chuu) develops feelings for Yoon Jae. With Ji Eun now living as a man, Min Ju sees an opportunity to pursue Yoon Jae, setting the stage for an unexpected and emotional love triangle. As per Deadline reports, My Girlfriend Is The Man marks the first collaboration between Viki and Korea's Studio N as they joined hands to co-produce the drama. The co-production comes as Viki reaches 100 million registered users globally on its platform. The streaming platform currently hosts multiple webtoon-inspired series, including True Beauty, Study Group, A Good Day to Be a Dog, and Yumi's Cells, among others. Oh My Girl to drop special single next week
Oh My Girl will release a special single titled 'Weather Forecast' on July 22, the group's agency WM Entertainment announced Friday. As hinted at by the poster for the single, featuring the enigmatic phrase 'Tomorrow's weather will definitely be … than yesterday's," it's a song of hope and warmth that offers consolation to listeners. The group gave fans a first taste of the single at the concert 'Milky Way,' held in Seoul in April to celebrate the tenth anniversary of its debut. Oh My Girl debuted in 2015 with a namesake EP and released a series of summer anthems over the years, including 'Nonstop,' 'Dolphin,' 'Dun Dun Dance' and 'Summer Comes.' In May, four members of the group decided to renew their contracts with the agency while YooA and Arin did not, but the pair reassured fans that they would remain part of the team.

With the industry landscape slowly shifting, thanks to OTT giants like Netflix and Prime, more filmmakers are taking risks and breaking out of the usual mould. One such show is the upcoming Lee Soo Hyuk, Arin, and Lee Da Hee starrer. The series has already made history at Cannes, and despite not having any big OTT platform behind it, demand for its streaming has shot up on social media.
