Gabriel Misehouy loaned to Aris FC
Originally from Ghana, Gabriel Misehouy (18) is temporarily leaving Girona FC to join Aris FC in Greece. The Catalan club officially announced his one-season loan on Monday, with no option to buy. Trained at PSV Eindhoven, Gabriel Misehouy joined Girona as a prospect for the future. Despite 41 appearances between the B team and occasional first-team call-ups, he has yet to make his La Liga debut. This loan move is designed to accelerate his development in a physically demanding and competitive league. At Aris, a club well-versed in European competition, he is expected to get valuable minutes and perform under the pressure of a demanding fanbase. His mission? To bring creativity and attacking flair in the final third. For Girona, the aim is for Misehouy to return in 2026 ready to make his mark.

May strike seals win for Livingston
Two second-half goals helped Livingston earn a victory at Alloa in their first pre-season challenge. Robbie Muirhead netted from the penalty spot, firing the ball straight down the middle of the goal, to open the scoring at the Indodril Stadium, but Irish-born forward, Connor Sammon, scored for the home side to level seconds from the break after slack defending. Livingston went ahead for a second time when Reece McAlear collected a ball and he scored from 12 yards and Stevie May then scored a spectacular goal, nicking possession near half-way and then sending the ball into the rigging with the goalkeeper struggling to get back for a 3-1 win. Two of David Martindale's summer acquisitions, Connor McLennan and Mo Sylla were given game time and Danny Wilson, who re-signed during the week, was also on duty.
