The Young and the Restless spoilers: Aristotle Dumas accomplishes what Victor couldn't?

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. For weeks now, The Young and the Restless canvas has been engulfed by the mystery of Aristotle Dumas. Every major player in Genoa City (and fans at home) has been asking the same questions. Who is the man behind Aristotle? What is Aristotle after? And will Aristotle really best The Great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)? Hopefully, these are all questions that will be answered starting with The Young and the Restless episode airing on Friday, June 13. The date of Aristotle's highly anticipated party at his summer home in Nice, France. Given he had exclusive invites sent out to the movers and shakers of Genoa City, we assume he'll finally reveal himself on his turf and have loads of surprises in store. Speaking of the guest list, in a big shocker, Adam (Mark Grossman) apparently wasn't invited, despite Aristotle inviting Victor, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nick (Joshua Morrow). Although Adam played it cool when talking to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) about being snubbed, it seemed like he was slightly taken aback. However, he eventually deduced that it was best he wasn't going, as the whole party seems like an elaborate trap. Going back to Victoria, while she initially had plans on attending the French bash, Cole's (J. Eddie Peck) health has taken a turn for the worse. In The Young and the Restless episode from June 5, Victoria shares with Nikki and Nick her concerns about Cole, who is now in the hospital. Given Cole isn't showing signs of improving yet, Victoria tells her mom and brother that she's going to stay behind to look after him, skipping Aristotle's party. Although she's unwavering in her decision not to go to France, she's still concerned about what Aristotle is up to. Having said all of that, we tend to agree with Adam about this shindig being a trap. We can't say for sure in what way it's a trap at this point, but him staying behind in Genoa City is a good thing. And now with Victoria also staying in town (although she may be a little occupied with Cole), Victor will have two people he trusts with his businesses in town to take care of things if something goes wrong in France. This leads us to our point. Aristotle may launch a few attacks on the Newman family or Newman Enterprises that require Adam and Victoria to actually work together on their own accord and trust one another. Sure, Victor has tried to force his son and daughter to work together in the past and press them to trust each other, but whatever truce The Mustache creates between the siblings is usually short-lived. And while Victoria, as co-CEO of Newman Enterprises, is technically Adam's boss (as he's the CEO of Newman Media), the two haven't really been seen interacting that much, and Victor has been around as a buffer. If Aristotle pulls a stunt at his party that demands an immediate response from the Newmans, it looks like Adam and Victoria may have to join forces to put a stop to it. Even if Aristotle takes a step toward gaining control of Chancellor, Victoria and Adam will have to team up to protect Victor's empire. Heck, with Claire (Hayley Erin) in town, she'll also need to pitch in to help protect Chancellor. We'll say this, we hope our theory here rings true, as we'd like to see Victoria and Adam really bond, even if the bond is created in corporate battle. We're tired of the two having this hate/hate relationship. Add some love to the mix. Heck, Adam has seemingly changed over the last year. And if these two start over in their sibling relationship, let bygones be bygones and actually become friendly after an Aristotle crisis, that's something Victor has failed to accomplish. New episodes of air weekdays on CBS. Episodes become available to stream on Paramount Plus the next day.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Cane reveals himself as Aristotle Dumas, but does he have an even bigger surprise coming?

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. We hate to brag, but we told you so. After months of dealing with The Young and the Restless mystery of who's behind Aristotle Dumas, in the episode airing on June 20, the big reveal occurs, and it's Cane Ashby, now played by Billy Flynn. Of course, we can't call ourselves surprised as we've been speculating that Cane was Aristotle for a while, given the timeline of Aristotle's emergence and his fascination with the Winters family and Chancellor. The big unveiling happens at Aristotle's big shindig at his Nice summer home. After most of Aristotle's invited guests complete the maze he had them navigate through, Amanda (Mishael Morgan) pulls Lily (Christel Khalil) to the side and says that Aristotle would like to introduce himself to her before he makes his debut to the rest of the Genoa City residents present. A skeptical Lily follows Amanda until they reach Cane, who has his back to Lily. As soon as Amanda leaves, Cane turns around, and Lily is left completely stunned. At first, she assumes Cane is just crashing the party. But then he insists that he's actually Aristotle and has been using the alias to become a billionaire tycoon (in six years). Apparently, he wanted the allure of Aristotle to be separate from his actual identity as Cane. Lily becomes furious with all the stunts Cane has pulled and the deception. When she asks if he forced their twins to lie about his 'double life,' he's adamant he didn't. She understandably wants more of an explanation for all of this, and he tells her she'll get one, but after he shows his face to his other party guests first. A fuming Lily storms off to try and reunite with Devon (Bryton James) and Damian (Jermaine Rivers), but she gets lost along the way, causing her to panic. When she screams for help, Devon and Damian come to her rescue, and she tells them all about Cane. Both men are left flabbergasted. Fast forward to the end of the episode, and Cane appears in front of the rest of the partygoers, and everyone is shocked except for Victor (Eric Braeden). Apparently, he already knew Cane was Aristotle. Having said all of that, we can't help but think Cane has one surprise in store for Victor that he didn't see coming. After all, with Victor being a masterful tactician and ruthless businessman, if Cane really is after Chancellor, he's going to need one heck of a plan to get it. Fueling our hunch that Cane has a big reveal for Victor in store is the following preview/behind-the-scenes clip. In it, Adam (Mark Grossman) pops up in France to join the Newmans. He wasn't originally invited, and he had no plans on going to Europe, but he made the trip to deliver some important information he's learned about Aristotle that Victor's 'not going to like.' So what could Cane have waiting for the Newman patriarch? We can't say. However, with Chance (Conner Floyd) also arriving in Nice soon, perhaps Cane was able to gather evidence to prove Victor committed a crime in Genoa City (or Cane is framing Victor for a crime), and Chance is there to haul Victor to prison. We also can't rule out the possibility we raised weeks ago that Cane somehow was able to get a foothold into Newman Enterprises. Cane attacking Victor's crown jewel is actually brilliant if he's able to use the attack as leverage to get Victor to begrudgingly part ways with Chancellor. For now, even with Cane revealing himself as Aristotle, we're left with more questions than answers about his motive and future intentions. New episodes of The Young and the Restless air weekdays on CBS. Episodes become available to stream on Paramount Plus the next day.

Billy Flynn Says Y&R Is a ‘Dream Come True' – But It's Not for the Reason You Think

Billy Flynn took a big leap by leaving Days of Our Lives to join The Young and the Restless. But the actor is excited about his new gig at the CBS soap opera, which begins this week. For Flynn, being part of the Y&R family is a big milestone for him. For 10 years, Flynn played the popular hero Chad DiMera on Days. Fans of the Peacock soap thought the actor would be a lifer on the show. But in March, Flynn stunned the soap world by announcing his departure from Days to join Y&R. While Days fans are sad to see the actor go, it was time for him to move on. When Y&R approached him with an offer, it was too good to pass up. WATCH THIS: Did you know SoapHub has a podcast?! Check it out here! Although there might be some jitters about joining a new show, so far Flynn is having a wonderful experience. In a video interview posted on Y&R's Instagram page, Flynn discussed being the newest cast member. 'I'm grateful to be on The Young and the Restless, and over at CBS feels like a dream come true. It's my mom's favorite soap opera. So, mom, you're…you're welcome. I know all these actors and I've been watching and admired them for years. And I know a lot of the people over at CBS and Sony, who work, you know, behind the scenes and, I, I love absolutely all of them. And I'm just, I'm grateful to be here. I really am. Flynn's mom and Y&R fans will see the actor's debut later this week as Aristotle Dumas. There's been a lot of focus on Flynn's character, who will stir up trouble for all of Genoa City. Plus, there's the added mystery of what secrets Aristotle is hiding himself.
