Kate Middleton's go-to brand just slashed 45% off its ‘Wimbledon whites' bags

Strathberry is the go-to bag brand royals Kate Middleton and Zara Tindall, and today is the final day to nab yourself a 'Wimbledon white' handbag at almost half price With just a week to go until the official start of Wimbledon, now is the perfect time to start planning your outfits. If you've been lucky enough to get tickets you'll no doubt be keen to have a great outfit or two ready to go, whilst even those of us not attending this year can take plenty of outfit inspo from the event – both on and off the court. The easiest way to get into the Wimbledon spirit is with an all-white outfit inspired by the traditional tennis whites worn by the players. To help complete your chic monochrome ensemble, Strathberry has slashed up to 45% off its 'Wimbledon whites' handbags for a limited time. Strathberry is a firm favourite amongst the royals, with both Kate Middleton and Zara Tindall regularly spotted carrying bags that hail from the brand. In fact, two of their most carried bags are included in the sale, so you can copy their look for considerably less. Zara has often been seen carrying Strathberry's East/West bag, which she owns in a burgundy faux croc design and was most recently spotted with it at this year's Cheltenham Festival. Fans of Zara's bag will now be able to get the mini version for less, after it was included in the sale down from £455 to £296, saving you 35%. Princess Kate, on the other hand, has several Strathberry bags which she wears on repeat, including the Mosaic bag and the Multrees Chain Wallet, which she carried just last week at the Order of the Garter. And good news for fans of the Princess of Wales ' accessories, because they're both included in the sale too. The Mosaic Nano Bag is now £257, down from £395, whilst the exact clutch she carried at the Order of the Garter – the Multrees Chain Wallet in white – is now £192 rather than £295, saving you £100. If you want to snap up the royal-loved bags with the discount you'll need to be quick, because the sale ends at midnight tonight (June 23) making now your last opportunity to save money on them. Another of Princess Kate's go-to handbags, the Midi Mayfair 2 from Aspinal of London, is also available in a chic all-white colourway which would be perfect for Wimbledon. The Chalk White bag retails for £750 for the midi size version – a staple in Kate's wardrobe – or £550 for the Mini Mayfair, a small version which also comes in white faux croc. To get the royals exact looks for less, however, make sure you don't miss Strathberry's flash sale which you can shop here.

Spencer sisters are new brand ambassadors for Aspinal of London

Luxury accessories brand Aspinal of London has announced a new talent collaboration with Lady Eliza and Lady Amelia Spencer who step forward as the label's new brand ambassadors. It said the partnership 'marks a significant and celebratory moment for Aspinal: a creative relationship grounded in shared values, Lady Eliza and Lady Amelia bring a fresh yet timeless spirit to the Aspinal world'. It kicks off with a campaign starring the sisters but we're told it 'will continue to evolve as the year progresses, with more spectacle, style and surprises to be revealed. United by a reverence for style and sophistication, Aspinal and the Spencer sisters are together crafting a new chapter in the story of modern British luxury'. Born in the UK and raised in South Africa, the Spencers returned to live full time in the UK in 2021. The London-based sisters work full-time as models and brand ambassadors. They've worked with a number of luxury brands and are red carpet regulars. To mark the partnership, Aspinal has launched a dedicated campaign 'featuring the sisters in a new and unexpected light, with a nostalgic nod back at the 60s. Imagining a summer weekend away in the English countryside, the campaign is shot in an rustic cottage surrounded by an overgrown wildflower garden not far from Aspinal HQ. The setting evokes the rebellious glamour of the unspoiled 1960s countryside: hidden away, relaxed, lived-in, and deeply romantic'. As the summer unfolds, they'll be seen wearing pieces from Aspinal's 'The Great British Season' collection, designed to sync with key events in the British summer calendar such as Ascot, Wimbledon or the Serpentine Summer Party. Aspinal founder and chairman Iain Burton said that 'for our first campaign, I wanted to juxtapose the obvious with a nod to the 1960s, an era we all love and that in my view suits the Spencers' iconic look perfectly. A nostalgic scene of a summer cottage and garden, it has to be wild, beautifully unkempt, and off the beaten track hidden away at the end of a country lane. The kind of magical place where you might have found a couple of rock legends or artistes hiding away for a private and lazy weekend. 'I don't think you could find anyone better to represent English elegance than the Spencer sisters. Individually, and even more so together, they reflect everything we associate with quintessential, understated English style. From the classic elegance of Hepburn and Taylor to the English rose girl-next-door, the girls capture everything that defines Aspinal: timeless style, stunning elegance, but a spirit that is relatable, democratic and Brit cool.'

Primark's 'elegant' £11 bag looks 'just like' £248 designer version

Primark's new bag looks similar to a designer version - but there's a huge price difference Primark is stocking a new bag that bears a striking resemblance to a pricier alternative. Known for its affordable fashion and homeware, the high street giant may have just introduced a new crowd-pleaser. The retailer's Mock Croc Crossbody Bag looks similar to a style by designer brand Aspinal of London, but at a fraction of the cost. Shoppers can snag the Primark version for £11, while the high end version is currently priced at £248 online, down from £495. ‌ The bags are very similar, with a croc, leather-look finish, rounded shape, and grab handle. They both also feature gold-tone hardware and a similar clasp. ‌ However, there are some differences too, including that the designer bag is real leather while Primark's is synthetic. The Primark bag features a smaller, more textured croc design in comparison to the more expensive version too. The full Primark description reads: "Style and sophistication? It's in the bag! Take your new season accessories collection to the next level with this chic-as-can-be mock croc crossbody bag. "An elegant addition to your edit, it's here with a polished look and feel that's sure to perfect every outfit. The luxe mock croc finish is super sleek, while the gold-toned buckle to the front adds to its timelessly classic vibe. "This bag also features a grab handle and a crossbody strap, so you can choose how you want to wear it. Use it to jazz up all your outfits and let it carry you through spring, summer and beyond!" The designer bag's description reads: "Our Portobello Crossbody Bag is an elevated take on the classic saddle bag. Handcrafted from full-grain leather and secured by our signature letterbox closure, inside you will find a spacious main compartment lined with grosgrain, while the adjustable crossbody strap achieves an effortless hands-free look." ‌ Primark's Mock Croc Crossbody Bag is priced at £11, while the Aspinal of London Portobello Crossbody comes in at £248. This means shoppers could save around £237 by opting for the bargain version. Customers can grab the Primark bag, which comes in chocolate, orange and ecru, in stores now.
