The British broadcaster has come under heavy criticism for broadcasting the rap punk duo's performance Saturday, when rapper Bobby Vylan led crowds attending the U.K.'s largest summer music festival in chants of 'free, free Palestine' and 'death, death to the IDF,' the Israel Defense Forces.

US defense secretary says the Pentagon has contingency plans to invade Greenland if necessary
©Associated Press Today at 15:31 Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth appeared to acknowledge that the Pentagon has developed plans to take over Greenland and Panama by force if necessary but refused to answer repeated questions at a hotly combative congressional hearing Thursday about his use of Signal chats to discuss military operations. Democratic members of the House Armed Services Committee repeatedly got into heated exchanges with Hegseth, with some of the toughest lines of questioning coming from military veterans as many demanded yes or no answers and he tried to avoid direct responses about his actions as Pentagon chief.

250 million bees escape after lorry overturns in US

The vehicle hauling an estimated 70,000lb of honeybee hives rolled over close to the Canadian border near Lynden, Whatcom County Sheriff's Office said in social media posts.

Over 150 people injured jumping from buildings as magnitude 6.2 earthquake hits Istanbul

More than 150 people were hospitalised with injuries sustained while trying to jump from buildings, said the governor's office in Istanbul, where residents are on tenterhooks because the city is considered at high risk for a major quake.
