GMA Network to launch 'Sang'gre,' 'Sanggang Dikit FR,' 'Beauty Empire,' 'Stars on the Floor,' more for its 75th anniversary
GMA Network is set to launch new and exciting shows soon in celebration of its 75th anniversary this 2025! According to Aubrey Carampel's report in "24 Oras" Friday, the much-anticipated "Encantadia" spinoff series "Sang'gre" will finally begin airing on GMA Prime this Monday, June 16! "Sang'gre" will introduce the newest keepers of the brilyantes: Flamarra (Faith Da Silva), Deia (Angel Guardian), Adamus (Kelvin Miranda), and Terra (Bianca Umali), as well as the evil ice queen Mitena, played by Rhian Ramos. Aside from Rhian, "Sang'gre" will feature a new set of characters which include Ysabel Ortega as Armea, the late Ricky Davao as Governor Emil, and Sienna Stevens who will take on the role of younger Mitena. Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo are also set to mark their first project together as husband and wife in the upcoming action-drama series "Sanggang Dikit FR." In 'Sanggang Dikit FR,' Jennylyn stars as Roberta "Bobby" Enriquez, a bubbly yet competitive policewoman. Dennis plays Antonio "Tonyo" Guerrero, a skilled policeman who loves to improvise when solving crimes. The action-packed show will premiere this June 23. The GMA Network, Viu Original, and CreaZion Studios series "Beauty Empire" starring Barbie Forteza, Kyline Alcantara, Ruffa Gutierrez, and Gloria Diaz, among others, is also coming soon. The show dives deep into the rivalries and high-stakes drama among powerful women as they navigate the beauty industry driven by ambition, revenge, and power. It will first stream on Viu on June 16 and on GMA Network on July 7. Meanwhile, the exciting reality dance competition "Stars on the Floor" will launch on GMA Network on June 28. Alden Richards will serve as the host of the show, while Marian Rivera, Pokwang, and SB19 coach Jay Roncesvalles will be the judges aka Dance Authority. On GMA Afternoon Prime, "My Father's Wife," which centers on the themes of love, friendship, and betrayal, is set to premiere on June 23. It stars Kylie Padilla, Kazel Kinouchi, Jak Roberto, Gabby Concepcion, and more. "Akusada" starring Andrea Torres, Benjamin Alves, Marco Masa, Ashley Sarmiento, and Lianne Valentin, will also premiere on GMA Afternoon Prime on June 30. Last Sunday, June 8, the Kapuso singing competition "The Clash" 2025 premiered with a new twist, where new Clashers and Clash Backers from previous seasons are set to face off in epic vocal showdowns. Clash Masters Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz are back for this year's edition, as well as judges AiAi Delas Alas, Christian Bautista, and Lani Misalucha. —CDC, GMA Integrated News

Max Collins performs at Pinoy Fiesta and Trade Show in Canada
Max Collins brought joy to global Pinoys in Toronto, Canada, where she performed at the 2025 Pinoy Fiesta and Trade Show over the weekend. According to Aubrey Carampel's report in "Balitanghali" Tuesday, the Sparkle star performed to over 5,000 Filipinos, Filipino-Canadians, and tourists at the event. The 2025 Pinoy Fiesta and Trade Show is a quadruple celebration of Philippine Independence Day; Filipino Heritage Month in Canada; the 15th anniversary of the event's organizer, the Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation; and the 20th anniversary of GMA Pinoy TV, which is the event's media partner. Aside from song and dance performances, the fiesta featured games, cultural presentations, a pageant, a mass, and a Santacruzan. A giant Philippine flag was also waved during the event. "Gusto ko lang pasayahin ang pamilya ko, ang mga tao na nanonood sa amin, syempre sa GMA and para sa mga global Pinoys that watch GMA Pinoy TV. Aktor PH led by Dingdong Dantes launches website with online database for Filipino actors
The League of Filipino Actors (Aktor PH) led by its Chairman, Dingdong Dantes, launched its official website during its general assembly over the weekend. According to Aubrey Carampel's report in "24 Oras" Tuesday, the website has an online database that will serve as a directory for all the Filipino actors in the organization. "Ito 'yung parang representation natin hindi lang dito sa Pilipinas kundi pati in future purposes, pati sa ibang bansa pag may casting para sa mga artista. Ang goal namin ito'y maging top-of-mind website na puntahan nila to search for all the actors in the Philippines," said the Kapuso Primetime King. Marian Rivera and Iza Calzado also attended the general assembly, as well as various actors in film, TV, and theater from different networks. Aside from the website, Aktor PH will also launch a podcast. Moreover, Dingdong said that among the goals of the organization is to offer benefits like health insurance to its members. They also plan to have a program for senior citizen actors. "'Yung health insurance, 'yan yung isa sa pinaka-gap sa atin, sa mga workers in the industry. If you become a member, you are entitled to a certain benefit," he said. Aktor PH is an organization dedicated to enriching and protecting the rights and lives of actors in the Philippines through a supportive community, training programs, workshops, mentorship, and more. —CDC, GMA Integrated News

'Bubble Gang': Applicants line up to audition for spot on iconic gag show
The auditions for the Kapuso comedy gag show "Bubble Gang" has now begun! As seen in Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," hundreds of hopefuls lined up at the GMA Annex Studio on Monday for the "Bubble Gang ng Bayan" auditions. "Ang gusto natin 'yung gang na word sa 'Bubble Gang' ay maging totoong gang talaga. Mas malaki, mas malawak at mas maraming nasasakop na tao atsaka humor sa society," show mainstay Michael V. said. The longest-running gag show in the Philippines is gearing up for its 30th anniversary in October. Apart from the talent search, they are also working on a secret project.
